In 'Cadeaux at the Chateau', all of the inhabitants of the Chateau de Lalande gather together to open beautiful gifts that people have sent from all over the world. All of the monetisation from these videos will be donated to a different charity each month. KZbin earnings fluctuate wildly each month, as ad revenue changes throughout the year. Here are the charities that we've donated to so far:

I used to show the gifts as part of ' @The Chateau Diaries ' episodes, but you're all so very generous that we have many gifts, and if we spent the episodes opening them, we wouldn't be able to show you other aspects of chateau life! So, for those of you who enjoy watching presents being opened, and as a way to thank those of you who were kind enough to send them, I've made this new channel. Every week we will film your beautiful gifts whilst enjoying afternoon tea or aperitif together.
It is very important to me that you know that we in no way expect anyone to send us gifts. I would like to go further than that and add that, if doing so will put you in any financial difficulty whatsoever, please, please do not send us anything. Knowing that you join us by watching 'The Chateau Diaries' gives us all an enormous boost. But for those of you who have sent these incredibly thoughtful gifts, I hope that seeing us open them gives you a fraction of the joy that you've given us 💖💖💖

It was quite the surprise when you opened the gift from Geoff and Susan in the USA as Geoff is my Uncle! Gaye Jani, I came on here to write the very same thing!!!! I too live in Canada and I am so disappointed when Stephanie receives a gift from 'Canada' but doesn't say which Province. Yes, maybe the person sending it did not say where they were from but it is usually on the parcel, box, or envelope return address or postal stamp. When a gift arrives from the USA, a search is underway to find out which State, so maybe you could adopt the same search and find the Province in Canada. Thanks so much Stephanie.....keep up the good work in donating to the various charities (loved the last one.....to the orphanage in South Africa.)

I must bring notice to the wonderful noise of building creating and mystery of the grand salon going on in the background. I enjoy seeing the lovely gifts and the traveling but I really miss the active fixing up projects the repairs the get down and dirty part of the restoration. Dans vlogs on the pantry was a real dirty fabulous project. When you was working on the downstairs restroom digging out the floor wallpapering painting that is what I miss.

Now they have returned from Venice, I am sure you will be seeing all of the work going on in and around the Chateau. But you won't find anything like that on this channel, this is strictly for gift opening. All proceeds from this channel goes to a charity. The money collected from the advertising revenues of people watching the advertisements that are shown, are accumulated and monthly are given to a different charity. Don't ask me why I thought of this because I have no clue. Here is a silly idea for a vlog that came to me when you were talking about the wallpaper in the circular bathroom. Why not do some tongue in cheek, but honest talk about bathroom design in a chateau or grand house. You have many in the chateau, but are always going on about what every great bathroom/loo should/must include. Not sure if you'll do it , but it would be a hoot and likely original. Also if there are any remaining I would and others would like to the the bathrooms not done. In the unfinished part of the chateau. Still just a though, but after all the amazing hair brained parts of vlogs I have see you pull off with aplomb I thought you might get a kick out of this idea. Love from Ohio Kristy.
