It has been a real hot summer here! The mosquitoes only just let up yesterday! (Luckily, they took a holiday the day of the wedding!😊)

I, too, am preparing mushrooms or drying but, because I live in a city, I had to do my foraging at the local market. Loved the silence!

This was fantastic to watch, such bountiful harvest! The flowers, the teamwork that makes the dream work is just a great example of what matters most in life. You are two beautiful people and I admire your efforts, the way you treat each other, and more importantly I admire the time you take out to film, edit and share your piece of paradise with us. I will say this to be short, the flowers yall cut together A+, the bread looked amazing, I seen the how soft, (you go head)😊 I could just taste it mmm A+, the nasturtiums and wild mushrooms Wow! they were beautiful and big A+, that was just a few. Thank y’all both for sharing and showing such a beautiful relationship with a beautiful way of Life. I will be patiently waiting for the next one. Blessings!

I grow a lot of winecap and different oyster mushrooms. The winecap mushrooms are way too productive and I slice them and lightly fry them in coconut oil (3-5 min) and freeze them after they're cool. I find the taste and texture are better preserved as opposed to dehydrating without the need to rehydrate, etc. Thanks for sharing👍. Happy growing.

Thank you! Yes, for most edible mushrooms, we usually cook and eat them fresh! But with boletus mushrooms (these were suillus), to cook and eat them fresh, you have to peel the top, otherwise it doesn’t taste good. They are great dried however!
