Two friends, Alina and Anna, have spent more than a week in a bomb shelter in Kyiv hiding from Russian bombs.

I have family that left Kyiv around WWII, some came to the US and some went to Canada. I believe that I still have family in the Ukraine and my heart hurts for them and what they are going through. We pray for you every day!!!

Just curious - what exactly is the nerve to go outside and shout out your lungs on some randoms on the street? I sure do believe that everyone believes that Russian soldiers are basically eating Ukrainian babies for a breakfast now, okay, no problem with that, cancel culture at it's best. But that's kinda where logic fails me - like, one doesn't go outside to shout at hungry bear. It's quite the opposite, as we can see on each and every rally happening worldwide, especially in ex-USSR - law enforcers are standing still and holding their nerve, while insane people drunk from their emotions are spitting in their faces and wishing them horrible death or what not. So, again, wheres "the nerve" in someone's shouting into a face of a man, who can't and will do nothing against it, and basically forced to exactly stand there and listen someone spitting out their lungs out in curses? There was another woman captured on video, saying in serious tone that she's cursing passing by russian soldiers and their dick will fell off this exact evening. There's a lot of people losing their temper captured in the video - but somehow you people call them "Karen" in every occasion, except when it's "Ukrainian Karen" losing her shit. Not feeling a hypocrite, somehow?

You have to understand that for people who believe in God and in the power of prayer, sending "thoughts and prayers" can mean something supporting and comforting. We want the Ukrainians to feel supported in every way possible. It might not seem like much to you but people with high morale tend to do amazing things to beat back their oppressors. And not all of us are able to fight, but we all still want to do what we can.
