Instead of completely covering the space over the bathroom door, you guys should put in a transom window. That way you can tilt it open for better ventilation, especially with the steam when showering. Plus it will allow more light to flow between the bathroom and the house abd and it just looks really good. 😊

Well done, you two! Love your bathroom and your natural decor theme. There are a lot of comments about ventilation but I am wondering if you have a screen on the window so that you can open the window whenever you shower? Also, I think a bamboo blind on the window (inside the frame) would look really nice. It would not cover your wood frame and it would compliment the style of materials. It would also allow pretty filtered light into the bathroom during the day. Love your little artwork projects! How about doing a third one of the farm or the mountain and then framing all three pics in wood matching your woodwork? Congratulations getting fresh water to your house! And Starlink is awesome! Your videography keeps getting better and better! This was a fun video! Looking forward to the next one! ❤️❤️

Congrats you two! 🎉 worthwhile suggestions: get a shower door/window squeegee. Mount it in your shower. Use after showering, totally helps to keep the glass clear, free of soap scum/mineral deposits. Also, consider getting an accordion shade rather than a curtain for your bathroom. Use the curtain elsewhere. Over time, it’s gonna get wet, and will draw mildew.
@juliestates567711 ай бұрын
Couldn’t agree more! Also- that curtain is too long, it looks more like a shower curtain.

You should maybe install a first rinse diverter for your rain water collection or make one it's basically a long tube with a ball that will float to the top of the tube when it fills with water it blocks off the tube that fills with dirty water for when it rains then the first bit of dirt on your roof fills the tube and doesn't go into your tank and helps your filters last longer Google it its cheap and helpful you might consider using it when you also have to fill your tanks with the pump for the first bit of dirty water. Congratulations it's a pleasure to share your lives and experiences

Be aware that while those are very small air powered nail or staple guns they can cause significant hearing damage which of course increases over time. It can cause tinnitus as well which is very annoying. So always use hearing protection beginning now or you will have hearing loss when you are older. Mail guns are actually the most damaging to hearing of all the various power tools even though the noise is not constant compared to saws and sanders. It is indeed like the sudden intense percussion noise of firing a pistol or rifle as far as creating hearing damage.

I just checked and hydatids is pretty prevalent in Panama. If you are going to let your dogs swim or be near your water source you might want to dose them regularly for hydayids - they need to be taken to a strip away from the house to evacuate the worm that carries it.

Beautiful couple! Beautiful home! I am not a fan of curtains. However I am a fan of privacy especially in the bathroom. Keep the curtain for now. Use you imaginations to do something artistic, personally pleasing, maybe a recycled something or a stain glass type thing hanging from the top with a curtain to cover only the lower half of the window on a tension rod inside the window frame. The open space above the bathroom door? Same kind of thing, leave it to your imaginations. Frame it like a window but leave it open. Maybe some vertical steel bars resembling a jail window. Creatively recycle something to add decor to that open space.

Best place to Block mud and water is at the pump. A filter over the pickup and putting pump in a bucket underwater so sediment at the bottom of the pond will be less likely to be picked up. This will handle most of it before it can get in your pipes and tanks.

That glass door makes the entire bathroom just perfect! Research and see if you can locate or order MARINE grade plastic, and use it for your greenhouse. It is super thick like leather, heavy, strong, very clear as glass and can be stapled onto the wood trame. I bought a roll of it and enclosed my deck, it has held up against all sorts of extreme weather. You might find it where people do boat repair work, or you can order it, but shipping would be expensive as it is heavy. A one time expense might pay off though in endurance. I LOVE the paintings you made for your bathroom.

Your bathroom is adorable! Your paintings are the best touch. What about ventilation and mold for your shower.? Also, how are you going to manage your pipe under your sink if there’s a leak and you have it all wrapped up? I would consider making a three sided box that you can slide in on the shelf around the pipe and other things shown under your sink, because then, if there’s an issue you can just pull it out and have quick access to it. 🤔

Kudos on getting the bathroom done! Rodrigo, you may want to consider a sedimentation tank to get rid of suspended mud in your water once the pond is disturbed. So, pump water first to that tank, let it sit for a while to allow solids to fall to the bottom and them pump from a few inches above the settled solids layer. It will help a lot with the intervals between filters change. You may also want to consider an UV light water filter to get rid of any microorganisms that may find their way into your water lines. The rest of your system will take care of the rest of the purification process no problem.

Sad news on the greenhouse. You might want to check out a different way to connect the plastic. Staples create holes that tear easily in the wind. Poly-tex has a product called wiggle wire that holds plastic in a channel. It works great and makes plastic changes easy. Other companies like Farmtech sell similar products. I have a couple greenhouses that use this method and it has served me well.
