My Husband and I will be in Homer Aug 10-12th before heading over to Kachemak wilderness lodge by boat. You gave me some more places to visit. We planned our 30th wedding anniversary to Alaska because of your adventures! You do a great job representing your state. ❤ I’m sure I’ll make my husband crazy because I’m going to say “Lauren was here and Lauren was there” Lauren said to do this… Lauren said to do that” lol 😂

😂 I think having boys helps! After a while you just learn to go with the flow and in my experience, I'm always glad I took my boys out instead of keeping them home ❤ getting out the door is the hardest part!

It is good you all adapt to changes in plans so well. What a bummer to get to Homer and not be able to get on the ferry you had planned on. Sometimes enexpected things that come up during travel can create beautiful other moments that you wouldn't have otherwise. The food looked really good and what a cool spot !!
