Please pray for my family, I'm getting married this week, the Church I am planning on becoming a member is helping with finances for us to be married... I am born again, me and my fiance are both regenerate born again Christ seeking Christians, after 20+ years of being either incarcerated or homeless addicted to intervenes drugs, committing awful crimes, i have finally found the true Christ and what it takes to be born again...the desires I once had are Gone ...what I desire now is to slay my sins and become more Christ like....I ask everyone that reads this to PLEASE pray that as I step into the covenant of biblical marriage that I stay the course, that my fiancé' stays the course...that my soon to be son in law come to be "truly" born again...I have been poor in the eyes of "the world" since I was born...please pray that my new family becomes rich in the spirit and that the treasure that we keep searching for is that that can be laid up in Heaven...My name is Rob Trindade, I'm from Rhode Island, my fiancé's name is Paulajean and my son in law to be is Evhan...I have been "dating" her for ten years as a non Christian...totally practicing all kinds of evil sins...but we have been delivered from those sins that could have killed us and we both since then have been in the fight to have victory over those sins that linger...Thanks be to God & our Lord the Christ for not allowing us to separate...and lastly please pray for my love for my wife to be like the way Christ loves His church. truly- Rob T

“What do you prefer? Shall I come to you with a rod of discipline, or shall I come in love and with a gentle spirit?” 1 Cor. 4:21... Thank you Lord Jesus for such an encouraging word instead of a harsh one... I really needed that instead and I didn't even realize it.

God does answer prayer, but it has to be according to His Will that you'll get what you want.

Praying earnestly is 'contending'..which is not easy. Even Jesus said, "when I return, shall I find faith on the earth?"....brothers and sisters...FIGHT the GOOD fight of Faith...keeping praying, keep standing, keep loving our Lord...He that has promised is FAITHFUL, and He is NOT a man that He can lie! ...and having done all, STAND!

If you choose to follow Christ, He will. But you have to choose Him first. Admit that you're a sinner needing salvation & ask Jesus to be your Lord & savior. Christ saves all who come to Him for salvation.

This channel has a lot of great sermons and videos about how you are saved and how you can be confident in that. Watch some of that to comfort your heart and as this video clearly addresses: pray that the Loving and Merciful God would recieve you in faith. God isn't gatekeeping his own invitation for salvation, He only asks for surrender to Christ by putting your faith in Him as Lord. This will produce change in you. Pray this and be confident in God to save you because you can trust His promise that He will. If youre connected to a good church, connect with your pastor and he will give you the right counsel, and if youre not connected, thats definitely your first step to peace.

The sad thing is that the church will pray when the trial comes, but like Judah God will not hear their prayer. They will be praying to be saved from the fire instead of carried through it. Many will fall away when God says, "no I'm not saving the church from destruction, it is through distruction that I am saving the remnant"

So how do you know if you should keep praying and praying, or if you should take an unanswered prayer as the Lord not thinking it’s a good thing for you to receive?
@lucasjames22313 жыл бұрын
I'm in the same boat, honestly I trust totally in the Lord and keep my hope and keep praying for Him to show me, speak over my thoughts, for guidance of the Holy Spirit. And if it's a decision and you're continuing on wanting to know, as long it's not sinful then don't be afraid of failure and keep faith that God will bring you through it. God bless you, and I'll pray for you.
@freedomfighter49903 жыл бұрын
I've been wondering that for decades. No pastor ever has a useful answer for that. If it's for someone else's salvation, you know you should keep praying for them. Other than that, I don't have an answer to how you tell the difference between a "No" & a "Wait".
@kinfolks2u3 жыл бұрын
Jesus Himself told us to pray "the Lord's prayer"..as our model prayer. IF we are praying "let your will be done on earth, as your will is done in heaven"....if we know that we can see WHAT we are praying for 'as being done in heaven" we can have FAITH to keep praying...we can also begin as we ask, thanking Him for 'it' being done...
@faithijn83383 жыл бұрын
i believe Pastor Tim Answered that... Keep Praying. I prayed every day for 10 years for my daughter to answer the phone and talk to me. I could only call on her birthday. He answers when we are ready and in my case my daughter had to be made ready too. Look to the Bible for the answers Every thing is addressed in the WORD. EVERYTHING.... ARE YOU ASKING FOR THE CARNAL THINGS OF THE WORLD OR THE SPIRITUAL??? YOU ALSO HAVE TO BELIEVE GOD ANSWERS PRAYER....the Power of Prayer is also in our Belief if you think it is just words I wouldn't look for and answer readily.

I honestly pray regularly that more people will get vaccinated. I’m am so tired of living like this, my friends are too. It seems like an impossible request, but I believe God will help us.
@CumbriaPreaching3 жыл бұрын
You probably know this, most folk have been vaccinated in the UK and we're still not back to normal. There is no hope apart from Jesus Christ, pray to God that He would give you a love for Him. Repent and believe the Gospel. .

Your prayers are NOT aligned to the Will of GOD… Do you know why? Because you are praying out of FEAR of man, NOT FAITH in our Almighty FATHER!🙏🏻✝️🙏🏻 Maybe pray for GOD to take away your fears instead and grant you more discernment and wisdom, or pray to submit to GOD’s Will and NOT try to take control of life and other people…

You don't care that the injection relies on stem cells from abortion? You don't care that people are dying of the injections today? And you pray for this to happened to your neighbor? Anathema.
@shelbycurry7213 жыл бұрын
Okay… so, let me try to give a more kind and gentle response than the ones I have seen here. I am sure that you’re saying this from a place of sadness, loneliness, and longing for the way things were, right? 😕 The vaccine is not the answer. If it was, things would have already returned to normal. The vaccine is a power tool for the Dems. They’re gonna keep hammering at it until everyone is conformed to their will, but as Christians we aren’t supposed to be conformed to anyone’s will but Christ’s. Be wise. Don’t trust people who have already lied, like, a lot. (Masks don’t do anything, wait…. *now* they do. Vaccines are good…. Wait, even if you get your vaccine you need a booster shot. And you might still get COVID. Oh and you might have a reaction and die from the vaccine). Like someone else said, our only hope for normalcy, peace, and the greater good of humanity lies in Jesus Christ. He does not want people trusting in a medicine before they trust in Him. We must trust in Jesus and pray for His kingdom come. ❤️

Why spend a hour of my time when the Lord can teach me how to pray in less than a minute. Luke 11:1-4 KJVS [1] And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples. [2] And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth. [3] Give us day by day our daily bread. [4] And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.
@freedomfighter49903 жыл бұрын
That is one way to pray but the scriptures don't tell us that it's the only way. God tells us to bring all our needs to Him. Repeating the same prayer from Luke every time you pray is very limiting when you're trying to express a specific need to the Lord, esp. an urgent need.
@Naomiburachek3 жыл бұрын
Yes, that is true, but look also to the context. Jesus Himself spent hours upon end in prayer. This should teach us to also develop a love for prayer and speaking with God.
