Wow, just found you guys, I'm a retired Motor mechanic after 55 years.on the tools. My wife Vilkki is a casual 2 days a week, pharmacy assistant. Been caravanning for 3 years. Just caravan parks at this stage. Keep up the great work, Well done.

Wow! How coincidental. Glenn was a motor mechanic, and Vicki was (is) a pharmacy assistant! Welcome and thanks for watching. 😃👋

Great tips, thanks. We put a blow heater in the ensuite and hang damp clothes in there with the door shut. Everything dries very quickly and becomes a very efficient drying room😊
@happycampersaustralia4 ай бұрын
That's a great idea, but a blow heater uses a lot more power. We camp unpowered most of the time. Your idea is perfect when you are on a powered site. 👍😃

Love the tips and commonsense ideas. Looks like you have been enjoying your trip. We have just retired and looking to do more although been caravaning for some time. A tip for caravaners with a pop top we had previously, I made a pvc electrical conduit tool to release awning and to pull down roof clips so you dont have to get a ladder out all the time.( I am a bit of a shortarse so necessity made me use my brain.) Good luck with your travels and thanks for a good video.

Thanks so much for your video really great tips for camping, I'm just doing my last job and I can then retire 😊 , using half an awning on a windy day was something I had not thought of, you can teach an old dog new tricks, hopefully I may see you on the road, cheers and thanks again Andy and scruff 😉🐶

Question regarding polishing solar panels , wondering why as usually it’s a big no as polish is an inhibitor to production of solar input . Love your videos
@happycampersaustralia4 ай бұрын
Interesting? We knew wax was a no no, polish is more friendly as it doesn’t cause a build up.

Our solar panel get cleaned when it rains LOL. Some good tips, we have spent many years onn the road both full time and part time and you came up with some great ideas that never occured to us :) What reversing camera are you using, we have one on our Coaster / Trailer setup but it used to lose signal and the rear camera has died so it is time to replace it and I want to find one that has good range so that it doesn't cut out (assuming yours is wireless but I guess it might not be).
@happycampersaustralia3 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching. Our rear view camera is hard wired, so can’t help you with recommending a good wireless option, although we hear that Safety Dave make good products.

I’m really wanting to swap my heavy and warped laminated ensuite door out for the polycarbonate! ❤ Who does that? A cabinet maker or a glaziers that make shower screens please? I have seen the polycarbonate panels at Bunnings.
@happycampersaustralia3 ай бұрын
We did it ourselves. Have not heard of anyone getting it done professionally. Bought the polycarbonate from Bunnings. You need to disassemble the shower screen in the van as it’s too big to get out the door. Polycarbonate is slightly narrower than the glass, so seal well.

Hi what sort of polish do you use to polish your solar panels, have seen others doing and wondering what its purpose is as my understanding you couldnt use like cleaning products etc for keeping them clean, Thankyou.
@happycampersaustralia2 ай бұрын
I use Bowdens Own ‘Boss Gloss’ or ‘Fully Slick’ product as they are hydrophobic, just makes it a little bit easier to clean next time.
