Female suffrage was a catastrophic mistake. Every country that gave women voting rights created an exorbitantly expensive welfare state within 10-15 years. Birthrates and wages declined profoundly. All nations that allow women to vote are being out-breed by less advanced (Islamic) nations. If you want the West to survive, enforce merit-based voting: Only net-taxpayers vote for Congress. Only draft-registered adults (that are combat-capable) vote for the president.

I could write a novel on it but from a 11B point of view it (recently got out) comes down to a few big things: 1. The overwhelming majority of my time in the Army was spent doing non-combat relevant training. This was my biggest gripe outside the gym argument. Before I became an NCO I used to keep a whiteboard in my barracks room where I would list the number of days on base vs the number of days I spent at least a few hours conducting combat relevant training, pissed my squad leader off to no end that I would hang it in the middle of my room on the wall. I had less trigger time in the Army than I have at any point in my life since I was 10 years old. 40 rounds at stationary targets once or twice every 6 months does jack all to promote good weapon skills (its a perishable skill). Not to mention the amount of times we would hear that if any joes were injured in combatives that wasnt ran by some kind of platoon function or higher that we would lose our stripes. I would fill out Risk Assessment forms to get joes out of the same boring PT routine by taking them rucking out in the local wilderness areas, which would be a struggle to get approved. Try to do the same thing to ruck them out to one of the connex villages to conduct some real room clearing/squad+team movements, and it was crapped on as being too risky without an officer present (keep in mind I wasnt asking for a ammo draw, just empty weapons). The only combat relevant training that command teams care about is the BS mandatory ones that fill parts of their yearly training calendar from Brigade. 2. Its more political than ever, for the life of me they cant divorce congress from using the military as their social lightning rod to push their agenda. 3. No matter your stance on the vax, it hurt our military more than anything else in the last decade. Your retention and recruitment numbers show it. 4. Leadership games the system to build and protect their OER and NCOERs. Legit had a commander who was terrified of making Major so he did everything he could to volunteer his Soldier's to try and move his way up the ranks. Yet all he did was build a company that was green on its slides but was in terrible shape in reality, never seen a unit morale so low because everyone knew he would burn anyone at the stake to make himself look good. The way leadership is developed now a days is that there is no room to fail, so if you never fail, you never grow. You just end up more creative at finding ways to hide your mistakes. Whether that is fake range cards to bump your qual percentage, inflated PT scores, or a shadow PCMS list of deadlined vehicles that you wont declare deadlined until other vehicles are fixed so your slides dont reflect a maintenance issue. 5. Incompetent leaders who do nothing but chase green slides. Legit I spent days with my squad at a training event where they locked us in a room for 8 hrs a day. The equipment we were supposed to train on was deadlined but they wanted to report this training happened in the next Quarterly training brief. LTs knew damn well they were wrong when i called them out on it but the BN battle CPT enforced it. Another time I had a Soldier who was looking at back surgery in his near future, was on pain pills, but due to the way his profile was written they fought like hell to make him take a modified PT test until IG was involved. Their reasoning "his out of date PT test was continuing to be an issue at the QTB briefs". 6. PT is hot garbage and units continue to fight Soldiers doing their own PT or Squad PT in the gym. Even when I could prove our Squad average went higher when we stopped doing that BS PRT. 7. You waste so much of your freaking time in the Army that I firmly believe that if you made man hours used a weighted metric on their OERs and NCOERs you would fundamentally change the way the Army operates. 8. The advent of cell phones and always being on call and easily reachable has made command teams freaking pathetically inept at forward planning. I remember asking an LT why they were putting random names on a duty roster for a BN tasking when the NCOs already said those Soldiers were tasked out per the troops to task. The LT responded "we just need to get this submitted so we can mark it complete, we can deconflict later". You can imagine the amount of juggling of details that went on when no one says no and no one forward plans off the WARNOs until its the night before. We have moved so far past focusing on training warfighters and building teams that looked at each other like family. I guarantee that a sizeable percentage of vets are not recommending the service to people. The Army need to fix itself from the Top down. The recruit problem is fixable with proper guidance, mentoring, and corrective training. I dont care if you had grade A recruits, there is a fundamental leadership problem that exists in the Army and likely military as a whole. Cut the fat of inflated non essential metric chasing and get back to leading the way that inspires your subordinates and your peers. You can fix most (there were always be those worthy of a chapter) recruits and mold and shape them into Soldiers. You cant take weak recruits, make them buy into bullcrap, and wonder why they arent motivated to play toy Soldier in the dog and pony show.

I can relate to what you said yes the amount of actual combat training at your unit is pathetic I have handled my AR-15 more in a month then I ever did at my unit. and I do not have to check it out everytime I want to use it. that was the gayest part of the army waking up at 4 am to go to the range standing around the armory FOREVER!!! waiting to get it into your hands felt like I was in a group home micro managed no creativity is encouraged when asked about what is the army like I say imagine standing in the line at the DMV for 8 hours the army is much much much more boring then that. Ive never been more sick (and pissed) than I am right now. I was in the 1/508th & the 2/325, saw action in both OJC and ODS. My son has wanted to serve in the army sense kindergarten. We have an old picture of him holding a sign in 1st grade saying what he wanted to do when he grew up. It said "Airborne". He is now a senior in HS and sadly told the school recruiter to leave him alone he is not joining. He is strong, a star wrestler, and a great human. Army Ranger Medic was his dream and now that dream is gone because of everything you mention in this video. Proudly he is going straight to the fire service, my last profession. This country better find a way to get testosterone filled men to start joining again or we are in trouble.

Here's the part John leaves out. For all intents and purposes, this country has full employment. Companies are desperate for people. They're offering signing bonuses, pay raises, upgraded benefits etc. And the DoD has to compete with that. When there's a recession like in 2008-2009, the DoD has no trouble reaching their recruiting goals. In other words, when people can't find a job they're more likely to join.

You should check the retention numbers too. After a decade of service I opted not to re-enlist, for my third and final contract, due to heavy handed tactics at branch. On a phone call, a year out from ETS, I asked the branch manager if we could have a discussion about my next assignment and I was told, " it's my way, or nothing ". Seven other Soldiers I know also took the " nothing " option. Maybe they don't actually need people? Soldiers signed up, completed their contract, and recognized that they don't have to volunteer again. The change is that Soldiers now tell their stories on social media and the negative stories are the easiest to tell; garnering the most attention. That being said, I enjoyed 75% of my time in the U.S. Army and would gladly do it all over again given the chance. The other 25%? Well, I WAS in the U.S. Army. Can't be all sunshine and range days.

The Frankfurt School, a group of communist intellectuals who emigrated to the United States to escape the Nazi storming of academia and now their ideas are dominant. In his essay 'Repressive Tolerance', Marcuse indirectly gives birth to what would later become our day's concept of 'political correctness', that is, the dictatorship of thought that condemns with the hammer of rejection, shame and even fine or jail anyone who dares to question the new 'dogmas' beaten and brainwashed by cultural Marxism. Marcuse said: «The conclusion obtained is that the realization of the objective of tolerance requires intolerance towards dominant political orientations, attitudes and opinions and, on the other hand, the extension of tolerance to political orientations, attitudes and opinions outlawed or eliminated... (that is) intolerance towards the movements of the right, and tolerance of movements of the left (...) would extend to the phase of action as well as discussion and propaganda, of action as well as of words» (Repressive Tolerance, Marcuse).

Having just recently got out I have something to add to this list. Leadership has gone away from being the meritocracy it was supposed to be. I had a SGT in my platoon who had two Negligent Discharges, in the arms room, directly after training. Two separate instances. He still kept his stripes afterwards. I have had a 1SG and Captain tell the formation that the Global War on Terror is over, and that we need to forget everything about it in regards for preparation for the future. I was an Infantryman, and I consistently told my leaders we needed to train and drill building and room clearing more, only to be told to shut up, because we don't do that anymore. I've watched multiple soldiers walk around out of regs with shirts that have political slogans on them, such as Black Lives Matter, so and so for whatever office and others. Office politics are the rule now. You either kiss the ring and get in line, or you will be punished. I wanted more than anything to give more in my time in the military. I got forced out because of a bone spur in my ankle that the Army refused to fix. And now I look at where things are and I don't see a lot of soldiers anymore. I see yes men. And that terrifies me.

Sex crimes, assaults are up 13% ⬆️. On post, base 🏘 is awful in many places. Black mold, lead pipes, bldgs(barracks) falling apart. No clean water. No 🛁. If I were a teen or young adult today, I'd look at a reserve or NG unit. Maybe Air National Guard, Space Force. 🚀 . The armed forces are not meant for everyone.

Mainly due to former soldiers and marines who had a negative experience in the military, recruiters have been given a bad rap and are often assumed to universally be liars. Additionally I think this inclusiveness in the military brings in people who aren't inclined to renew contracts, and deters people who are serious and would renew contracts, this bringing down the average service time for the individual.

A little late to this one, but here's a few other things: 1. When a Marine (or whatever you are) has an issue, they can't reach out to their command for help. They can't rely on their leaders to be there for them in times of need. "If you have a problem, you are a problem" is the new mentality in the military. If you're stupid enough to trust your CoC, you're eternally ostracized by them, even if the problem isn't your fault. 2. Third World level medical. My buddy broke his ankle during training. He was denied a visit to Naval Hospital by BAS and given Motrin and crutches. They confirmed to him that his ankle was broken. When he checked his medical record for it, there was zero record or documentation of his broken ankle. Battalion level medical "aid" isn't there to help you heal, it's there to falsify and omit medical documentation so that you don't rate the VA care you deserve when you get out. 3. Too much paperwork. If you have a personal problem with another guy in your section, there is no settling it like men. They will make it a military matter and try to bury you with negative paperwork instead of addressing the issue. Guys have gotten too arrogant in this generation, not getting punched for saying stupid shit or fucking with others. 4.Hypocricy. This is probably one of the biggest underlying flaws within the entire military. "We police each other and hold each other accountable, regardless of rank." Okay, let's say you call out someone even one rank above you for conduct unbecoming of their station. Boom, now you're well and truly fucked. "You should reread and follow the Leadership Principles." Okay, you don't do that yourself. But again, if you correct anyone above your rank, well now you're a target. And they expect you to die for them or trust them, that's the funny part. 5. "Service horror stories". Plenty of veterans are being asked what it was like in the military. Most veterans aren't lying and shilling for the government or the military and tell the truth to these prospective enlistees. Folks hear the truth about what happens in the military and decide that trade school or college is a far superior option. Some still join and become those veterans who tell the truth about what happened to them. And then the cycle repeats. 6. Corrupt government. This is huge. We know that the CIA has set up several slave-trafficking operations throughout history and may still have others in play as we live and breathe. We know the FBI is spying on all of us unconstitutionally. We know the government uses military action to cover up their immoral and illegal operations around the globe (look at Vietnam). Who wants to be a part of that? Who wants to potentially die as part of a corrupt act? Why do you think recruiters lie to every single person that walks into their offices? Young people are becoming smarter and not so easy to brainwash and manipulate, despite what the TV will have you believe, and aren't falling for the "patriotic duty to serve" bullshit. Other than these six items, you covered it pretty damn well. I love your content and always get excited to see you post another. Take it easy, WPS.

My greatest issue with the military isn't necessarily that i think the institution itself is evil, but i have heard terrible stories come out of the low recruitment standards about the behavior of some of the soldiers, and it demoralizes me to think that we aren't held to the highest possible moral standards anymore. We don't have Desmond Doss anymore, nobody even thinks of saving wounded enemies, they readily talk about how they're willing to turn arms against civilians if they're paid enough, i don't want to fight by the side of other men like that.

Excellent video Sir. Having served in the Army, from 1985 to 1988 (active duty) and 1988 to 1992 ANG, I can tell you that the "woke movement" isn't as new as we wish to believe. It has been growing and is now in full swing, there's no doubt about that. To this day, I remember a certain college professor in 1988, telling me (after he realized that I was a veteran and a member of the ANG), that the final step of the "communist plan", his words, not mine; were to "infiltrate" the ranks of the military and police forces with "sympathizers" of their cause. I thought he was an old washed out hippie who dropped way too much acid in the 60's...Today, I'm not so sure. The more I read (Rules for radicals, The communist manifesto, Animal farm, 1984, Nikita Khrushchev, Che Guevarra On Guerilla Warfare, etc; I realize how easy it is to see the "plan in motion". He was half right. Self-described communists think they're serious actors, but they're really just footsoldiers for the elite. "Infiltration" of the military, police, etc. only works because the elite finds them useful and already controls those institutions at a much higher level (ie POTUS and SECDEF). So it makes it easier for the elite to set their plans in motion, but the institutions will never be truly "communist". It'd be more accurate to say they're run by Bill Gates than Marx.

I was only going to enlist if they gave me an option 40, wanted 11-series MOS too. Went to see a recruiter, went to MEPS, passed the physical with no problems. When we were all standing around in our underwear doing the basic test-exercises.... physically, I was the most shredded dude in the room. I was PUMPED to reenlist and get my option 40. I was in the Navy from’86-‘93. I agree with what you said but would like to add. I prevented at least 1 enlistment that I know of by some very negative comments. There are many things that military has to deal with that civilians don’t normally deal with such as: extended deployments, additional laws that don’t apply outside the military, poor pay, poor leadership, not being able to quit if you find a better job and not to mention leaders who basically have dictatorial control over everyone with no consequences for almost anything. With all that considered, I find it amazing that the military’s problems aren’t worse. When I joined, I didn’t have the benefit of KZbin videos, Facebook or websites letting me know what to expect in the Navy because if I did know; I’m not sure what I would have done. I had more negative experiences than positive and haven’t forgotten. The military is about two-thirds the size that it was when I joined. Recruiting was a big problem back then also. Being gay/ lesbian was a automatic disqualification. No problems with that now so that makes matters easier so that tells me that people are reconsidering future plans and the military isn’t as appealing as college and make a lot more money and not deal with nonsense. A civilian company faced with the same problem would increase pay , give more benefits, vacation time and ect. The highly doubt the military will do any of that. I always thought that forming a investigation department to look into abuse of power would greatly benefit everyone. I never saw anything like that happen in 7 years. That was a big reason that I got out. If higher ranks were half accountable for their actions with subordinates. I saw far and heard of too many examples of too many of leaders doing things ruining people for no reasons. In my system, this people would be half accountable. In every incident I know of , a E6 or below was sought out and blamed weather that person had anything to do with it it not. ( Look at the Iowa incident). I pointed out problems to fix to improve but I highly doubt the military will take advantage of it.

I’m currently in the army. I agree with you on this video, I’m not re-enlisting due to the dramatic changes in the military. I’ve been in uniform out in public and I’m uncomfortable doing so due to the fact people look at me and have a disgusted look towards me. I don’t know what that’s all about but I feel like civilians have a sort of hatred towards military members

Thank you for your service. Don't take the strange looks personally...it's just that the current "woke" American culture no longer admires or respects a "warrior" culture. Especially if you're white. I get the same looks when I tell people that I'm carrying concealed. It's a mixed look of both disgust and ignorance. 😂

It's because people are viewing the military less and less as their protectors, and more and more as the tools of their would-be oppressors. People say we shouldn't complain because "We're the best country in da world!", but it's a cold comfort to be the last piece of turd getting sucked in as the entire world flushes down the drain...

The left hates you because they always have. The right has begun to hate the military as well because you guys have honestly failed the nation. We are ruled by mass murdering pedophiles who spend every waking moment scheming more ways to fuck us over. If soldiers started fragging officers, politicians and other elites the public would like you again.

huh I can't imagine why almost like letting Obama get away with warcrimes is not a good look, almost like enforcing laws that are unconstitutional is not a good look, almost like being hypocrites on subjects is not a good look, almost like following orders blindly like a dog is not a good look. huh I also just can't imagine why you get the looks.

Over the years I've frequently heard about how veterans aren't taken care of by the military (endless memes about the VA denying care) and constantly hear how lots of veterans are poorly received by society after they get out, winding up homeless, etc. I'm sure a lot of people see/hear this and decide that the military isn't for them if that's how they're going to be treated on the way out.

Still waiting on them to either kick me let me stay over my vaccine status. I have been kicked my reclass school two weeks prior to me going from the TAG. I then asked for a written letter as to the why. The TAG refuses to give me a reason as to why. Probably because they know if they said it was over my vaccine status They may have seen legal issues down the road. Nov 2024 can not come fast enough (my ELS date not political)
