Retired people in Ukraine are hungry, they can only get a salary of 70 euros a month, just give money to your people, you don't have any new soldiers that you spend money on weapons, no one wants to join the army. Many of the USSR's ships were built in Ukraine including aircraft carriers. Some of the greatest scientists from all fields. Antonov and Sikorsky were both Ukrainians.
