For future reference if you do get a fish I worked at petsmart and it’s best to get a tank before getting the fish to let the nitrogen cycle complete :) it takes about 24 hours but it’s worth it you’ll have a happy fish that lives longer

A frappe is not a coffee drink unless you specify espresso instead of milk, it’s a milkshake. The espresso added now that’s a drink! Cappuccino, lattes or mochas, those are made with espresso. I told my kids that my period is when God didn’t put a baby in my belly, He chose another mommy this month.

Zoee, You will find out as the kids grow they go thru stages of independence and dependence. And remember we are teaching them to be independant. I am bummed all the time because all 3 of my kids are grown and gone. I think I taught them too dang well!!

Yes, & when they do cook it’s Hello Fresh package food. I follow another young family & always out for meals, breakfast, lunch, dinner. Is this typical American behaviour. I’m in Australia & we cook at home. Eating out us a treat for kids & not the norm.

The fish idea is not bad as long as you do your research, I suggest watching some KZbin videos, maybe a 5 to 10 gallon tank,and just a single Betta. I have a 10 gallon tank and they can be more work then you realize, but could be a good learning experience for the kids

Terrible choice…turtles live for decades and they grow a lot. They will not be “tiny baby turtles” forever. A turtle needs a big aquarium, lamps and most important you need to inform yourself before getting one. Usually pet stores don’t really know how to take care of turtles, fish, hamsters, rabbits…properly. It’s a really long time commitment, I don’t see Zoe and Garrick take care of a pet for 30 years! They will probably get tired after few months.
