8:42 TXT actually contributes quite a lot to the writing of their music (and both Kai and Beomgyu have produced a few songs). They don’t have as much freedom to write whatever they want because their entire discography is built around an ongoing storyline which is crafted by Big Hit, so each song has to fit into that. There have even been times when the members have written songs that were released years later because they only fit into the narrative at that point. Especially in more recent years, most of TXT’s album b-sides have at least one member credited on them. 6 months after debut, Kai actually set the record for being the youngest idol to be registered under KOMCA (Korean Music Copyright Association) after he helped write and compose a song for their first studio album. Then 6 months later TXT became the youngest idol group to have all members as registered songwriters.

Slow Rabbit is TXT's main producer since debut so many of their songs are his production. I would also recommend to read somewhere about songs that txt worked on and even produced, it seems many people completely unaware of this so you might get pleasantly surprised. If I remember correctly, txt introduction video by beomiebear has such and other info about txt.

Txt usually write and compose music (Beomgyu and Kai produced songs too) and they have credits on all of the songs on the album except Over the moon. They usually don't write for the title track often, but the b-sides they do write for a lot of them and a significant amount

Guys you gotta check out the whole album for me i like danger and resist the most but all the songs are hella magical ✨and txt does contribute in writing alot i don't really remember much of the credits.... but ig danger is mainly written by beomgyu.... and all the members have contributed in writing in the album.....

Musically speaking in 4th gen txt songs are the best especially their b-sides and album as a whole ❤️🫶 and out of context, I feel Waleska and my music taste is almost same.

beomgyu is actually the member who has more chance to become a txt main producer and carry their brand in the future cause' he already produced some tracks as a main producer with slow rabbit as his partner and he's credited as a main composer for resist (a b-side from sanctuary) who's genre was classified as reggaeton (if you want to check later) and from a latina myself i've approved they really catched that vibe & also danger (b-side from sanctuary) it's also worthy to check imo cause' it brings something new to the table & it's an interesting track overall.

Dear sputnik is a song written by Hueningkai, a song without a music video but that can be really interesting to react! There's also a song caller Thursday Child has Far to Go produced by Beomgyu and thats a masterpiece for sure! (It's a unit song with Taehyun, Soobin and Beomgyu)

Call me biased but Hybe consistently has the best music in kpop. They have actual songs. Not so fun fact: SM plagiarized TXT's song then had to give the producer/writer credit afterwards. Despite all the ongoing lies, it's Hybe that's on everyone's moodboard with proof of staff literally having their groups written down and some admitting to studying some. I will say I didn't really like Crazy by le sserafim but it's a still a structured song and it's just a different genre but still listenable. The lovers of that genre praise the song and I listened to some from the genre and compared then agreed. Cherish by Illit is really good and I'll Be there by Jin is good vibes

2:18 That has been, personally, the most disappointing aspect of this comeback; every single song is less than 3 minutes long. I know this is an (unfortunate) trend in kpop and pop in general due to streamability, but it just feels like the songs are incomplete as a result. And in general making songs shorter takes away from the musicality of it and makes it harder for it to convey an emotion or for you to get swept away in the song itself
