We arrived to our 3rd country, Taiwan 🇹🇼 !
Alishan is a mesmerising natural paradise nestled in the heart of Taiwan. We are so grateful that we're able to see the breathtaking sunrise, embark on a nature hike surrounded by the ancient forests, uncountable pause by the sacred tree, and having a deeper connection to the nature beauty around us.
This 24 hours is an unforgettable experience for us, and it is definitely not enough to fully enjoy the nature beauty of Alishan Recreation Area.
It feel sad that our journey ended with some regret but it also make us have some good reasons to have our visit next time in the future! :)

GREAT video! This is definitely on my list. I was in Taiwan in March 2024 and decided to visit Taroko as opposed to Alishan due to time constraints. The big quake was only a few weeks after I was there and it is shocking to realize what was damaged there having just been there. You must also do Sun Moon Lake! ❤🇹🇼

Hey, great video! How frequent are the buses from Fenqihu to Alishan please - I could only see from online sources that it is twice a day to Alishan and once from Alishan back. We are only intending to do a day trip to Alishan. Thanks!

If can, we really recommend staying at least one night at Alishan.😉

Hi is both of you ride HSR from taoyuan airport direct to Chiayi? The bus stop is just outside the hsr station?

Hihi! Actually its not MRT, its intercity train like KTM (just a lot better). And also the seats are not meant to be window facing. It is actually meant to allow the cleaning staff to turn the seats around when the train moves in the reverse directions. Some conductor see already will comment if they see seats is half like that.

Great video and helpful information. We should arrive in the 1st day around 12pm at the main entrance of recreation area. We are planing to stay there 1 night and leave at 2nd day afternoon. Do you think we shoud extend 1 more night? I have seen the end of your video suggestion that stay at least 2 nights. Is Fengqihu 奋起湖 worth visiting if we don't want shopping and buy? I am thinking if we should extend one more night. the hotel there is a bit experience too.

Hi, thanks for the support! 😊 If you really enjoy nature, and want to fully experience Alishan recreation area, we would suggest you to stay 2 nights. If you just want to simply stroll around the forest trail, 1 night will be enough. 😊 depends on your speed on hiking too For Fenqihu, we just simply stroll around and had picnic lunch there as we were stopping by to wait for the bus to the recreation Area, we saw a lot of tourists shopping for local souvenirs, it’s quite nice for shopping 😂

Hi, we took 7322A bus at around 1:45pm, at Fenqihu bus stop which just infront the train station. It need to climb some stairs.

Hi! I think you mean directly from Taipei main station to Alishan Recreation right? It will took around 4-5 hours, and you will need to change your transportation at Chiayi station. 😉

Actually we went at the early of May, and Alishan is at high elevation, so it’s abit cold for us, roughly 25°C/12°C 🥶 We always google the weather for all the places of our trips😆
