Myrtle Beach South Carolina was amazing!!! Other than our hotel room, our trip was a wonderful family getaway. We stopped in Charlotte North Carolina to visit relatives as well as the Billy Graham Library (which I’ll include in an upcoming video). Having fun in the Atlantic Ocean was really something. And God held the rain back, 🌧 I am so thankful! iT WAS SHOWING RAIN FOR THE 4 DAYS WE WERE TO BE THERE. Looks like y’all had a wonderful time. We went to MB about a year and half ago. We stayed in a beautiful rental home. We were there for about a week at the beach everyday in the water. The day after we left a shark drifted onto the beach....on the end we were at...lol.....OMG!!

It's good you guys were blessed to be able to get away on a vacay! It looks like you guys had fun and enjoyed each other's company as a family. Girl, when you said, "timeshare," I knew there was going to be something to it! I vowed to never attend another timeshare presentation after the late '90s. Back then-in Orlando- the resorts would bombard and harass people to attend their timeshare presentations for "free" tickets to the Disney Parks, local attractions, dining, resort stays, etc. I told my husband back then that none of it's really "free," since the presentations and solicitation bouts are so long (at least half a day), people give up at least half of one-two of their vacation days, when most people only have a limited number of vacation days. Hence, that's a lot of time to lose on vacation; time is valuable. So, essentially, you pay with your time; nothing is free. I have several family members who have Westgate timeshares. They're good to have for frequent travelers. They have resorts all over the world. The villas in Orlando are really nice. Myrtle Beach needs to step it up!

Yes Tanisha- I agree! You certainly pay with your time... it was something awful. Wyndham does a much better job than Westgate. They stuck close to their time commitment and there was no high pressure sales. I’m really just good and tired of the presentations now, lol

The view of the mountains is so beautiful! The Hampton inn hotels are pretty nice. We’ve stayed in them a few times. I live an hour from Charlotte, NC in Gaston County. I'm 44 and haven't been to Myrtle since I was 10. looks like yall had a good time. my mom and sister went last fall and stayed at crown reef beach resort and waterpark. they said it was a nice place to stay. that is another option if yall go back and want another hotel to stay at.

I enjoyed your video you and your family I did some research and we came along your video so we just left from Myrtle Beach today and it was pretty good but there's a bad side like you said of Myrtle Beach that they need to revamp some of the food was okay Captain George we have went to a resort they try to make us by one of their condos but it's senseless to do that when you got a mortgage and paid on mortgage somewhere else they give us the right answers so they got kind of mad so we won't be doing that no more but thank you again

Just wondering your opinion on doing those little seminar things do you think it was worth it? I have a trip coming up and they have already called me to see if they could get me to attend one I would have to pay $50 holding fee for my spot to show up and then I get that back and $100 spending money at the resort that I will be vacationing at and $60 eating vouchers and a five-day vacation at a later date... I have never done one before and I'm a little skeptical of it I would love to get your opinion on that? Can't remember exactly how many hours she said but I feel like she said it was a two hour one

When you were driving past family kingdom I was thinking to myself "oh no I hope they aren't staying at Westgate" I'm so sorry yall drove so far to arrive at such a dump 😩 We made the mistake of booking there once and it was literally our worst MB trip ever, and we go to MB every summer, sometimes twice. If you need recommendations, I suggest Sandy Beach (just a few blocks North of Westgate or North Beach Resort in North MB.

If you have the extra money to splurge- I’d go ahead and get a comfortable hotel. But if you’re barely getting there and are on a budget- it is worth it. You just have to be forceful and end the presentation shortly after the time they told you it would be over. They will fight you on it so just be prepared! 👍🏽

Time shares presentaions can be relentless. My dad owns at orange lake (south beach resort in myrtle) went 2 yrs ago with a friend whionwas interested in becoming a owner. Sat threw their presentaion. Offered 200,000 point for just over $45,000. Lady said he could get 4 vacations for those 200,000 points.... I booked a 2 bedroom for a week that year total point cost was 137,500. I asked the lady how she figured on 4 vacations for 200,000 points after i told her what it cost for that year. She said thats cause your hear over the weekend if you would book 2 or 3 days mid week off season u could do 4 vacations... I said who goes on vacation for 2 or 3 days to lets say myrtle in feb? Dont get me wrong very beautiful place to stay and it cost me dam near nothing since it was my dads timeshare. But i would never spend that kinda money for.one. and to stay at same place with out being an owner is well over $3000 for a week. Time shares.arent for everyone. Gotta use common sense when sitting threw a presentation.... They can be VERY PUSHY and can't take NO FOR AN ANSWER

OMG, my GF's mom hooked us up with a Westgate time share (through Wyndham) stay in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee for a wedding we went to. The room was great. A one bedroom with a kitchen. However, I didn't know the deal before accepting it. I didn't know it had anything to do with a timeshare scam attempt. I thought her mom got a discount from some points award thingy. We paid like $180.00 for 3 nights. Nope, we were sweated relentlessly by obvious con artists, that even thought they could control when I left the table to go outside for a smoke. After showing as much polite patience as I could muster. I had had enough. They said it would be a 2 hour presentation. Almost 4 hours later they still did not want to take their hooks out of us. The thing is, they are so transparently full of it. They should be ashamed of themselves. Ripping people off for their employer (Westgate) for a small cut of it. Please do not let yourselves be ripped off by Westgate, and their programed grifter conspirators.

Did not watch the video, don't have to I live twenty miles from Myrtle. The top one thing to do is stay away from Myrtle that place is dangerous. Much better to go to Garden City or Surfside. The cops don't play at all in those towns but there are a lot of DUI ppl on mopeds so expect slow traffic. I'd go to the beaches in NC in the summer less crowded less crime and better waves.
