There is nothing worse than looking forward to a good home cooked meal to be let down by it being cold. I will always make a point of saying i was not happy with the food, Like Deb said if they dont have enough left to make up a full meal that you have ordered then take it off the menu, Or if they know there is not enough they should tell you about that and you can then make your choice to have it or not, even if they adjusted the price and gave you the option. Im sure people would be happier with that. Im so glad you back and both looking extremely well. Keep up the vlogs. The babies (Dogs) are looking very happy being ut again. Take care guys. Ken

Hi, Great to have you back vloging again. I am like yourselves, "not a moaner for the sake of" but you were justified. As an aide, my wife is back in UK at present, out with friends last night, in a not cheap hostelry, chose the Haloumi salad starter, requested Spinach instead of boring Lettuce, when it arrived, 2 pieces of Halloumi on a mushy mound of cooked spinach. Good job I was't there is all I can say. As for your future boat, 60 x10 or 11 would be my choice , as I prefer the Rivers to Canals, Stay safe & healthy and enjoy your Summer.

We have just moved from a 57’ narrowboat to a 60 x 10 wide beam and we absolutely love it. Couldn’t go back to a narrowboat now. So much more comfortable. We are based down on the Kennet and Avon which gives us a considerable widebeam range. Good luck in you travels.

Great to see you back and laughing. Yes you were right to speak up. It was your money and you should get what they offered. Calling it to their attention is the way to get better service. I have worked in eateries, serving and cooking, let them know what needs improvement. I also compliment good service and good food. Management/owners need to know when staff need more education on standards.

We are on the north eastern canals based at Goole at present. The canals are very wide and deep as they used to be heavy with commercial traffic. We find most cruisers are considerate and do slow down when passing moored boats but not when passing boats going the opposite way. Not a real problem, though.
