We ate definitely pleased we ended up with one, when we had visitors it was a great space and aldi when the tow path is tight it is a good place to sit in the sun

That`s a lovely home and boat. I`m a 53 year old hgv driver and for my retirement plan i`m seriously thinking about renting out my flat and buying a second hand narrow boat. (I`d have my gov. pension,rent money and would own the boat.) Some ideas for your place= corianders an easy grow and great for your curries,cut and grow lettuce would be ideal for your pot(you just cut off what u need and it grows back). My cousin lived on a narrow boat for a while and an issue she had in the Winter was condensation and it affected her clothes. I use a de-humidifier (200 watt) they`re a low energy draw so cheap to run but I also use it to dry my laundry. It works out about 5 times cheaper than using my washer dryer even though it takes longer. 🙂
