Matt Matt Matt, Truly my opinion -- I've done several trucks and currently completing a '32 that I de-chopped (and de-channeled). Chopped coupes look cool as do lowered convertible tops on roadsters, but I've never seen a chopped truck that didn't venture into the realm of disproportion -- in layman terms they look like ass.

I like the fenderless look on this one with the wide 5's. Chopping is something I'd never do because A. I don't like it, B. us taller guys have to get in them, and then find out we no longer fit.

Steve..please consider leaving this little truck with the 4 banger in it. I think it would be a given for a change. In most cases, a V8 is an upgrade install. Please stay with the 4 banger for a change. 😊

@@S7midnight A 45hp light farm tractor is also great but..... As Seattle Speed Shop Mat sed, you'll never pay so much to go so slow. In the late 60s we wouldn't take a running perfect post war 6 for free because we could get running V8s for $25. They all got tossed to scrap by the 70s because even the 6s were so boring. I have a 31 Hudson long 8 coupe but even though its a gorgeous car I wouldn't keep it if it didn't keep up with traffic.

Considering you already have another parts truck in the works you may want to consider something like a 1960's style Hot Rod. Picking up on the dash consider a 302 tricked out with an inappropriate amounts of chrome and a nice interior and paint job.
