Alright, we have to change again the apartment as we have not found a suitable one for Bucharest. It is not so difficult to find a place having 3 kids, especially loud kids, and we are not willing to suppress them like most people do. We create critical thinkers, not slave bees, but we found one for now and it is a nice one, let´s check it out.

In buildings from communist times, the elevators were for 4 people, 320kg. The cabin has been replaced there, it's not the old one but the size of the elevator shaft is what it is.

That alcohol is a disinfectant, not for drinking and ingesting it is dangerous. Also, people don't wear their shoes inside their homes almost everywhere in the world, not just in Asia. And in Romania people have slippers and they also tend to take their shoes off when they visit others. And the building is likely from the 80s - if it's prefabricated squares on concrete it should be from around then - that's kinda when they started to use the prefabricated squares. If the exterior looks a bit better, might be just that it's painted or they added extra insulation plus paint.

Not a place like this, Airbnb is mostly cheaper than in Romania but if it has this value with all you will not find a cheaper one. In Romania you can also get a much cheaper apartment.

Sorry but you got ripped off. 700$ /month, is over half that is worth that. For that I would pay NO MORE THAN 400€. Is a shame that most of the owners sees you speak foreign language and tries to take advantage of you

No, this is Airbnb, it is always more expensive. This is for some time only, not for the year, this is inclusive of all other costs like electric and high speed internet and all other. I am well aware of apartment prices I have spent more than half of my life abroad and know the game better than anyone, nobody ever rips me off.

Interesting how this family uses “foreigners” in India and does not use the word in Europe lol. There’s only one thing that could mean….i have scanned a few videos and it is funny how they think they are above the locals and traveling like a “local” is so cool to them but in truth locals travel by bus, etc… because they have to not because it is cool.
