Matilda (Mighty in Battle) is a perfect name for this precious baby! I laughed out loud when Brooke was measuring out the new feed, it was like she had opened up a bag of chips. I love the name “ Matilda “ and hopefully once her leg gets taken care of snd she’s able to be more steady on it she can be “ Dancing Matilda” 🙏🙏🙏❤️!! She so pretty and maybe all she will need is a brace to keep her foot and ankle from turning under when she walks !! Thanks for sharing about the speed of Holly and the attentive way she listens to Jason...an amazing animal is Holly. the cute cow, Matilda, seems very comfortable with the goats and even with Honey and Jessie...glad Dr D suggested her feed and she has started on it. Hope Dr D can fix her leg so she can walk normal in future. God bless!

The cows leg can be repaired, per my wife who is a rural DVM. The key is to not let the leg get too developed. So some time restraints are in place.

Matilda is a fitting name for a beautiful calf. I'm mesmerized by her long thick coat. I'll be happy when Dr. D can look at that leg. The knee looks so enlarged that I can't help wondering if it is painful for her. Also, there's a lot of strain on her right front leg because it is taking all her weight. In the meantime, Matilda looks settled and content. Thank you for rescuing her and sharing her journey with us.
