Hi Ali n hubby lol .. I’m sorry I didn’t catch your handsome hubby’s name but I will, I am a new subbie here today. I found Gimmie Some Oven blog which lead me over here to y’all. I just loved your story on the blog about section and was so intrigued to learn more about you both. I’m born n raised in Southern California for 45 yrs, then my husband aka ( high school sweetheart ) our three grown sons one girlfriend and myself had had enough of California, so we decided to take an adventure and moved to Arizona ( the river ) which is where we would go spend our summers when we lived in California. Now five years later weh 🤫😭 I’m turning 50 the end of this year yikes, we have no regrets and so happy we took the plunge as a family. Everyone loves it, I myself had some adjusting that took little longer for me to settle in to where I felt like I belonged, I means it’s hard to leave your parents, other family n friends from the only place you have ever lived. My husband n I went to school there, got married right when I graduated high school, he was 2 yrs ahead of me, we then started having our kids, they all went to the same grade school n high school as my husband n I did, they even had some of the same teachers as we had, crazy right. Anyways I’m rambling I just wanted to introduce myself, I look forward to getting to know y’all, trying your recipes and hopefully one day visiting Barcelona with my husband. I have always been so intrigued, wanting to visit Barcelona, it’s my dream place to go see.. Thank you for all that you share with all of us internet web, KZbin friends 😘 can’t wait to see more.

That refuse routine is the same as what we do in Canada, WHY we cannot do it in the USA is beyond me. Sweet Apartment- so much light!! This may be considered rude and please do not answer but what is the approx cost of that apt? I have been looking at renting an apt in Portugal, Spain or Italy for a year and travel and use that as a base. Just for budgetary purposes....thanks! Neil

Hello, how lovely place you have....I can't wait to be in Barcelona myself in July... for the redness of your husbands eyes you can maybe try dried chamomile flowers... I did it 2 years ago, when I had some issues with my eyes... it might not solve the problem but it did ease them.... ohw and have you tried out the Zero waste shops yet?

How do you two afford to even live in Spain for two years? What side businesses do you do in order to afford to stay, as well as qualify for a Visa? You never shared that....

ouch can't get away from hearing the clip-clopping of your shoes... ouch poor neighbors. Lovely apartment though, but remember to respect the people downstairs and around you. To keep it clean, why not leave the shoes right there under the scarf collection :-)
