Our New Boat! Walkthrough of our 2175 Lund Pro V Limited!!

Fiberglass vs aluminum - lots of thoughts and opinions out there. Both certainly have advantages and disadvantages, however we are VERY pleased with our 2175 thus far! After coming from a 21 foot glass boat the past 5 years, this definitely isn't a downgrade in our opinion. She can certainly handle her own on the big water.

Beautiful boat and congrats. I never saw you guys switching to an aluminum boat. Always thought glass was way better for big water and more stable. Must be pretty impressive to switch.

Why would you put a Talon on your boat when you have spot-lock on your trolling motor? Also alot of captains on Lake Mighigan swear by a having a Fish Hawk on their boat. I did not see one on your boat. Your thoughts on not having one. Love your show and videos you put out keep them coming.

Spot lock stirs up the bottom when in shallow water thus spooking fish.

How does it compare in really shallow water to the glass?

FishHawk? I couldn't imagine fishing Erie or Ontario without it. Routinely find 2mph difference in down speed.

i don't understand all those planer boards and yet the manual rigger on the rear port corner (8:51) - I have never seen anyone using non-electrical with this rig.... is there a reason you have that manual rigger for some magic trickery?

Cant walleye/pike/bass/panfish fish out of a grady. For as much time as we spend on Superior, we also spend chasing the said species.

Glass 219 for 2023 and 2024 here. Happy with both, but the glass fits the bill better for the Lake Superior stuff we do.
