Well, we didn't get it by shopping in Cagayan de Oro. But on this day in the city, we head around to the malls and do some shopping for a trip. Cagayan is a big but small city on the coast of Northern Mindanao. It is booming... and with that, full of modern malls, stores and restaurants!

Hi Kulas, my mom passed on New Years Day. I just want to share that I didn't grieve or mourn her passing. I learned through the process of her transition that there is no such thing as "death." That which we call "death" is actually a a continuity of life, and that our "departed" loved ones have the most exhilarating experience when they pass, and that allows us to have access of them 24/7. Isn't that a comforting thought?☺ But of course we are here to experience all kinds of emotions and so we are allowed to grieve and be sad when someone "leaves." I'm sure he's flashing that smile upon you Kulas, as you drive his car around with Therene! So keep smiling for him! 🥰Take care!

Kulas,im so happy looking at your videos,we live in dublin,ireland and we always go home every year in cdo where our family lives.Its been 2 years now and all of us missing the shopping malls and beaches in northern mindanao...i have to call the kids to show them the video of the cdo malls,they love sikwate too. I particularly like the bohol trading,the rattan style here in dublin are so expensive,lots of memories going to that shop when i was doing school project.Therine is lovely and getting prettier everyday.

So funny you should say Thurine is making the apartment more homely, I thought to myself all you need is a dog like Butter, and in the Mall she showed you a photo of a poodle not quite Butter (because Butter is the best dog ever) but a dog all the same! Kyle, I hope you gave Thurine a card to shop with, after all the time, nursing and cooking she has done for you she so deserves it. She is a lovely woman, you are very lucky to have her, spoil her she is a star!! Thurine is always right, you did well buying a basket, but a picnic basket does have a lid. My Condolences to Alex's family, they will miss him but have great memories that never leave you, you never forget them however bad the grief feels at the time as coping with a loss of loved one is do hard.. This virus has caused so many deaths in the world along with the normal deaths from old age, cancer etc, this new variant is even worse by another 30%, so let's hope one day it will end and life can go back to normal. In England we have been on lockdown again for weeks already, and have no idea when it will end this time, the hospitals are only just coping with infected patients/

My mom and I used to go to that Cogon palengke...as an "immugrant" from Luzon in 1958, she was known by her "suki" as a "Tagala"'. So sorry to hear about Alex..I have lost dear friends to Covid-19 too..doctors and nurses who fought and are still fighting this virus. Always a reminder for all of us to keep safe and follow our Covid-19 rules and ptotocols so their lives would not have been in vain. BTW, we used to live along Corrales St.!
