@Wild Touring - I just found & viewed your video and it was excellent! Thank you for sharing your mods and customization ideas. That pantry mod with the top-drawer sliding back into the housing to reveal the lower-level is a brilliant idea. I've subscribed. Hope all is well, best wishes from the USA.

Hey guys love the videos and have watched all your WA touring series. We are going on a much shorter 7 week tour up NW and hopefully NT. Would love see more detail of how you wired up the fans and also how you plumbed the grey water tank. If you did a detail video on that it would be a great help to those of us who are moderately handy, but need a bit more guidance. cheers!

I used an upside down piece of rubber backed Bunnings carpet to slide our porta potti around the van (not while I was on it, but that would be pretty cool to). The rubber gripped the dunny while the carpet worked a treat as a skid. May work under the back half of that freaken annoying mattress to slide it back at pack up. Love the vids thus far, thumbs up champs

Looking forward to the clips.. Great to see your better half as excited as you are.. obviously as handy as yourself, sowing and making up bits and pieces. if you are stopping at Kalbarri let me know. I might be able to hook you up with a spot to park the van for a night or 2.

Cheers mate, yeah she's pretty handy! Really generous offer, but we're not planning on stopping at kalbarri this time (have been before though, and loved it!). We're gonna be inland of there having a poke around, and won't pop out onto the coast until around Carnarvon. That's the loose plan anyway!

Awesome video Cam. You all look so excited and i have already seen some FB posts of the early trip. Have a wonderful time but never forget that we all just watched a video of two beautiful ladies who adore their man. Never let that sit behind making content for all of us crusty's. They are special so spoil them first and pull the GoPro out when you can for us. Don't do it the other way round. Have a wonderful trip mate.

A mate of mine bought a 12 and he loves it. I have checked out the 13 for a bit more space, and convert the bunk to more strorage. Looks like a pain to fold the mattress. I'd put a couple of ropes or something under the mattress and pull the back forward, rather than doing it the other way. Will be following your adventures. Good luck and safe travels. Cheers Daz

Hi my name is Peter Williams and I live in Melbourne I enjoy your videos and i will be going to do the big lap soon but unfortunately Covid 19 clobbered my plans . I purchased a Toyota Coaster Motorhome in 2018 and have been on a few trips to Pt Welshpool in Gippsland it takes a while to work it all out and make the van work for you because of the age of the van (1986) little things continue go wrong but i am enjoying the time that i can travel any way please enjoy your trip and keep making videos of it

I love your honest down to earth attitude. Am really interested in you review of the van as you travel around the country. Laughed at the box of extras from Bunnings for the tank alteration did the same thing myself even had the box! Something I did which you might find helpful was rig another line to draw from outside sources by running a simple bypass hose and using a pool filter sock on the tip so I could run Jerrys of water direct without having to pour them in the tank for the shower.

You draw bar. Try to fit a removable pipe. Make a bracket to slide in a tip shop ex pool scoop handle extendable. For tv antenna. I welded side small pipe. I cut top one down half way to make a flat bar clamp. Then a side angle pipe. The a oztrail 25w led light to light up you camp fire. Dimmable. Then my high lift Jack extra handle I cut one end at a angle. Check lock your hubs high lift Jack mod. Then I use that spare handle for a soft ground spike for that 25w light. I hope it made sense. Good video guys. They look good these vans and I’ll be interested to see how it’s going in a year or so after bouncing all over Australia. Good video guys 👍, stay safe and enjoy your trip
