Any kind of dog bite can easily get infected. Please take Rooster to the vet. He will probably need some antibiotics and a good cleaning, maybe even a stitch or two. Please be concerned.

LE, Hydrogen Peroxide will get all the blood right off Rooster’s fur. Just don’t put the peroxide on the cut. Peroxide takes blood out of anything almost instantly, if it’s still wet. If it’s dry, it takes a little effort, but works great. Also, watch those bags on the goats or any of animals heads. I’m a vet tech and we’ve lost several dogs to suffocation that way.

Anabel should be looked at by a Vet. That sort of injury won't heal on its own. Also she could have ligament issues too. Also you should clean the wound to the dogs ear. Use a solution of Peroxide and Distilled water (50/50). Distilled water is pure 100% water. If no distilled water, bottle water will suffice. Best to prevent infection opposed to letting one occur and then have to treat that.

Poor Rooster looks a wreck. Hope his medicated baths will help with his skin infections. I used coconut oil on my Golden and his spots cleared up. Coconut Oil has natural healing agents in it.

He probably has allergies. It could be food or environmental, or both. I know LE said he is on a special food, but he could still be allergic to something in that food. Rooster most likely needs an Allergy Panel test done, and could use a good probiotic.

My sweet Reba had the tip of her ear ripped off! I had to rush her to the vet’s and they said it’s the hardest part of the dogs body to heal!! You have to really keep it clean and he needs an antibiotic!! Maybe Jaime can help you with that! But clean the ear and if it’s still bleeding! The Dr said the best thing to use is a ladies monthly pad, lol That was the craziest advice I’ve ever heard! lol Praying for Roster’s ear!

another great video with new babies for the ISS !!! welcome to the family piggies !!!LE and Megan are great parents to all the babies new and old what an adventure u 2 have to enjoy together !!! also just an idea to have some Kwik stop styptic powder (i think its called ) around for injuries like what rooster has its very helpful to stop the bleeding b/c dogs ears are very vascular or veiny ..also some powders have something in it to stop or help with pain too .. just trying to help yall out u can google it too and its really cheap and very handy to have in an animal first aid kit ... hope all is going well with the new pigs and that Mr. Piggles is getting to know his new friends and all is well with that ... looks like little Wilbur loves u already LE im not surprised lol prayers for Annabelle i hope yall can get her fixed up and back to better asap she looks like a sweet pig too ...have a blessed night and weekend u 2 and keep up the good work !!!!

Aww the new piggies are cute! Yeah Wilbur needs some manners. You wont want him chasin you if he gets really big. As for the girls this might be an ootion. Birth control implants. I know there are animal sanctuaries for bjg cats and stuff that use them. Cant hurt to ask your vet. And Annabelles colors are so pretty! I hope her foot injury isnt oermanent and that when its all better she can be a bit more active. Glad you guys gave them a new home! Love your videos! ❤❤ P.S: I forgot but I know from watchin vet shows like dr pol and stuff that piggies are cute but super dramatic and loud when they have to get doctored. Your dad and Jami had Trudy fixed young because they didn't want to take a chance on the feral hogs breaking into the pastures like they did to breed with Peggie Pig. I understand your reasoning as you have someone who will neuter the boys nearby but you definitely do not want to delay getting those girls in to be spayed. They are a very cute bunch, love that they are enjoying the pond 🙂

God wants us to pray about anything. Maybe you could build something to keep Annabelle from moving around and putting any weight on the leg long enough for it to heal...if it can heal. My dad build this box like thing for a dog of ours that got his pelvis broken when he got hit by a car. The vet suggested putting him down cause supposedly the pelvis was hard to heal unless we could keep him for putting any weight on it. So yeah dad build this wooden box thing with kinda like a belt that held the dog up just enough to keep him from putting weight on his hind end. He did heal, but unfortunately it did not teach him to stop chancing cars and trying to nip at the tires. That wasn't what got him in the end though. Anyway yeah just wondering if something can be done to help Annabelle?

Is there any way to turn that spot where Wilbur and socks are laying into a wet spot? I know how hot it is in Texas and how easily they get overheated. They sure are adorable little buggers. I always wanted a pet pig. My uncle was a large hog farmer, meaning he had a large hog farm. When my sister and I would come out to Illinois every summer we would all Pile in the back of my uncle's pickup truck and drive down into the hog area where the sow were. Auntie would drive and Uncle Bob would jump out of the back of the pickup truck snag a baby pig and run like hell to jump back in because mama was chasing him. Every since then I always wanted a pig but we lived in Phoenix and my mom was like oh no way Little FYI on ear flap injuries for dogs. You are correct they bleed terribly. The problem with ear flap injuries is dogs have a tendency to shake their heads because it's bothering them and they will shake their heads so violently that it opens up the wound again and starts bleeding all over the place. It literally looks like someone came end massacre at about three people in your house. I realize roosters not in the house, but you may want to bring him in for a couple of days put him in a cone and allow that to heal because otherwise he's going to keep opening it up over and over again. I've been through this several times because I've done rescue rehab for 40 years and when dogs get into it they have a tendency to go right for the neck and the ears. If you notice that it's not healing well this would be why. Give it a couple days outdoors and if it is not healing, you're going to want to bring him in and do the whole cone thing. you guys already know how to medically treat these kind of injuries so I don't need to go into that. I don't know how deeply you've gone into the Pyrenees breed yet but I wish someone had told me this before I got my first. Pyrenees have a tendency to have yeast issues and they can be very aggressive towards other dogs. The reason for this is because dogs are predators and the Pyrenees will view the other dog as a threat to their flock. When is a dog that is on the property working in conjunction with the Pyrenees they don't view that dog as a threat.. Pyrenees can also view humans as a threat because we are Apex predators. Remember, eyes front loves to hunt eyes on the side loves to hide. The Pyrenees uses the same identification method I would imagine to know what a predator is and what a predator is not. As far as what I was mentioning about yeast issues. I noticed a spot on roosters left hip. I don't know what happened there but if it just appeared by itself, this can happen with Pyrenees and it's quite often related to yeast. Stay away from dog foods that have chicken in them. And there are a lot of Pyrenees out there that have serious problems metabolizing kibble. If you do run into this problem with rooster it's easily fixed with a raw food diet. Also the yeast issue tends to be easily fixed with that as well. Just stay away from chicken where a Pyrenees is concerned just to be on the safe side. Not all Pyrenees have this problem but enough of them do that it is considered a breed issue for most owners and breeders. I hope that some of this information can help you guys out along the way like I said I wish someone had told me before I got my first Pyrenees it would have saved me a lot of stress anxiety and worry. Because when you take them in to see the vet for these bare spots yeast problem. You will tend to be able to tell it's a yeast problem because there will be a yeasty smell coming from the sore area. General treatment for the spots is a go-to antibiotic from the veterinarian and antibiotics cause more yeast to grow and you get into this never-ending cycle of antibiotics and yeast

The pigs are adorable! Neosporin works great on animal wounds like for Roosters ear! Walmart also carries a generic of Neosporin that works great I think it's made by Equate, but not sure! The pharmacist could tell you the Walmart generic brand name for Neosporin though! It comes in a pretty good size also almost double the name brand size and works just as good in my opinion! You might want to check the pig named "Annabelle's Eye" it looked like she might have had a scratch right where the eye starts, where eye boogies would normally be! If looking at her it would be her right eye! I was watching it on TV when I noticed it! I could be wrong and it might be sleep in her eye, but I thought you might want to check if out and make sure she's okay! 🙏🏼
