That was an extremely bad analogy comparing cats to pigs.. cats are considered a predatory animal. Yes they (cats) absolutely kill birds and other animals. But comparing a feral cat in cities Is absolutely wrong because simply put cats also kill rats and mice that carry diseases that are harmful to humans. Cats are not land destructive. So using killing feral hogs with the analogy of feral cats. You're condoning that it is okay to kill cats. Which is absolutely not acceptable. I enjoy watching your content but this statement was horrible. There are other things that you could have said to explain what damage and dangers feral hogs bring. You might actually put your brain in gear next time before engaging your mouth. Think before you speak!!

I did a search on why hogs have curly tails and it was very interesting. The theory is that pigs with curly tails are descendants of Chinese fighting pigs that were bred for competitions, and the curl helps to prevent other pigs from biting off long straight tails. Interestingly, it said that most wild hogs in Texas reportedly have straight tails like domestic pigs in the US. I'm not sure why some tails curl to the left, and others to the right, as Daniel caught hogs with tails curling both directions, so I've got another searching to do on that. Looks like the function of swine's tail is for swatting flies and body language communication. May God bless the Arms family.

The hogs have exploded in numbers everywhere. Even with the problems you had with the trap, they're really effective. I wish there was a place near Victoria, TX that would take hogs like you have there. I've driven up on roadside parks with 20 dead hogs laid out. That would have fed a bunch of people. Great video sir! Keep getting those porkers!

Dan, what you have now, compared to what we did 40 years ago, is like the difference between wet and dry! I remember sitting in a tree for days on end picking off one at a time till Dad was satisfied with the numbers. We didn't have traps but we were not dealing with the numbers you have now. Good on you Hoss. Get as many as you can!

That green wire you have hooked up, I would change it around because the green goes to green and the clear part of the connection wire goes to your latch. The reason why is because the it’ll light up red when it’s activated so that’s how you know you have power going to the latch. I have many of times forgot to remove safety pins, winch cables, or have a fully charged battery put into the trap. You got this man! Keep up the great work and keep the videos coming!!
