Blender has Python libraries & so do a few other VFX capable platforms. The Adobe suite has a .NET integration package & I vaguely recall another big platform using Go for side scripting. If you're interested you can use the skill you've already cultivated to get your start in VFX as a hobby. I was pretty stoked after I found SCAD for 3D modelling, a CAD program that is fully script based. If it runs on a computer, you can always build a script integration, everything is running in a shell at the lower levels, it's just about learning how to scrounge up the original technical documentation or patents to find out how to "talk" to the specific application you want to script for. Damn I need to go outside more......

Concerning ads: Corridor and Critical Role are the only channels that come to mind instantly, that make me enjoy watching ads or sponsored segments. The ad experience on TV is something I got very recently, as I returned to watching F1 after maybe a decade. My god, its horrendous! It is heartwrenching to have the commentator and car sounds interrupted by ad every 5-10 minutes! A race lasts around 2 hours, so in a single race I watch maybe 20 ads, half of them being REALLY intrusive! Ad reads in KZbin are a life-saving! Corridor Crew and Whiskey Tribe are some of the most creative I know, and even the more straight-forward ones are pretty bearable! 1:01:45 you have NO IDEA of how important the entertainment industry is to people's health! People may talk about science and medicine (which I actually support, as a pharmacist myself) but making someone smile snd laugh is just as important as any medicine and health care profession.

First time the KZbin algorithm brought up a CorridorCast Episode! Loved it! Just wanted to say thank you for all the amazing content! As for the ad reads, I will confess, I oftentimes skip them. BUT ONLY because you frequently advertise physical products that are not available in my country and/or cannot be shipped to my country (Switzerland). Digital stuff, like VPNs and what not, I usually watch till the end. By the way, a friend pointed out an amazing mirror effect in the 1962 Japanese movie Hitoribotchi no futari daga (ひとりぼっちの二人だが) . It's similar to the scene in 'Contact' you already did react to, but I think it goes even further? I have no idea how they did it and it would be amazing for you to try and guess or even break it down how they achieved it.

These cast episodes are always goldmines of knowledge and inspiration. They are unerringly relatable, as they cover topics universally contemplated at some point my nearly anyone and everyone. Corridor Cast is the ultimate supplement to my personal development as a creator. Thank you!

Markiplier is the reason I've started KZbin, watching what he did with "In Space" from where he began really inspired me and showed that you don't have to know what your doing in order to figure out how to do it, and you don't need classic opportunity of schooling to learn your passion. To know that he literally would not exist without corridor crew and to watch him sit here with them after so many years. Passions really do become realities as long as you don't give up on them. If that's not inspiring I don't know what is.

Mark is extremely correct about your guys influence, as I'm apart of it, I started making video games about a year ago, and it was because of your video with Peter when he made Smash Bros in a week, I couldn't believe the creative tools were there, mostly for free, and attainable by anyone, to make something like that, it was life changing, I've been working diligently since last April to learn Blender and Unreal Engine, and currently have 2 games I'm constantly working on,trying to learn and perfect what I'm doing. It's been a long road, and the initial learning curve was tremendous, but I can honestly say I'm making progress daily and learning something new almost every time I begin working on my project for the day.

I'm with Wren at 34:57. KZbin is my main platform for consuming any and all content. I have other streaming platforms I'll watch for certain interests, but KZbin, being so vast and inclusive, is what I tune in to daily.

I have a feeling there will be more inspiring designers attempt to pull off the “audit” of corridor. And by more I mean probably in the thousands.

I've never actually heard of KZbin TV before this podcast, but I get ads for youtube premium all the time (though they don't really communicate what it does beyond getting rid of ads). Also, I didn't even know it supported creators more, I always thought it just lined KZbin's pockets. If they advertised THAT side of it, people might be on board.

This is great! One of my favourite KZbinrs is now In corridor, which I already like. I feel like Mark fits in the team perfectly, at least from a personality standpoint, he may not know much about Visual effects but he can learn a lot from the rest of the team. I really hope he somehow doesn't leave and stays. Very nice.
