Here in my country, waivers actually can be contested in court even when signed. Example: School waiver during filed trips = basically mean nothing. They're always liable if it occurs during school supervision. Applies also to those amusement parks etc.

Thank you heath for asking if all the girls truly want that style of costume cause I developed at 11 and I had to wear women's clothes, trying to find an appropriate costume as a literal child was impossible. I grew up to be very masculine too so women's costumes just aren't an option for me, they're all dress versions of the outfit and super tight and revealing

My experience was when I was like 14yo & my mom brought my lil BF & I to the “1st annual Haunted Cells of Terror” (at an old jail nearby). I don’t think there was a waiver & this was the first haunted attraction I went to that stated “you will be touched but not harmed” on the sign. (Also, We didn’t have to have a guardian, my mom had recently had back surgery so she wasn’t joining us) As we’re going through the jail, they had us 2 put w/another group of 5 ppl.. & at one point they choose someone to put in the “Electric chair”.. ofc they choose me because I was/am barely 5’ & under 100lb, so they literally pick me up & throw me in the chair & put on a show of fake chainsaws all over me (not sure how those saws are made but they left bruises all on my thighs)… Oh & then there was a part where they have you crawl through a tunnel & literally have the actor’s hands coming through the roof of the tunnel as you’re crawling.. & ofc leave it to me to have a hand hit me right in the eyeball & made my contact disappear/fall out! So I had to finish the rest of this place w/only one eye open & luckily my bf was holding my hand “guiding me“, until the end where they literally expect you to run from them as they chase ppl all the way out to the parking lot/to some ppl’s cars! Now I’m 31yo & haven’t been back to a haunted attraction! Feel like I just have bad luck 😂 🤦🏼‍♀️
