Our Odd Duck House

I've been doing a lot of thinking after we lost our flock of chickens and I have decided that this might be the right time to give muscovies a try. The old camper that I was housing the chickens in isn't going to work for a few reasons but the biggest is mobility. I am realizing that I'm not quite sure where exactly I will want to raise the ducks on our property and a mobile housing would be the most helpful.
After all of that thinking I came up with the design that I show in this video. I am using an old rusty trailer that was made out of an old truck bed. I built everything so it could be lifted out of the back of the trailer with a loader if need be so I could use the trailer for other purposes in the future. I used leftover building material from our house build and some mill scraps from the sawmill. I kind of like how it turned out in the end.

For the mushrooms. Have you tried hitting your logs to simulate the log falling? Waking it up. I saw it on another channel. She buried enough of the log so it would be almost vertical.

We are really grieving the loss of our dog he has been a close part of our family over the years. Yes we did get a puppy, and she is settling in very well. She is growing fast and I hope to have here wonder through my new videos as they come.

Yes, believe it or not they are doing pretty well. The apple trees are doing the best. We have had a few cold springs that have hampered the pears and plums.
