Lovely home tour. Your house is nicely put together. There is nothing wrong with the Sofa it matches your decor. You are really blessed with God’s favour. That’s what happens in the UK people put out things because they want to replace their furniture or equipment. I do that as well when I bought new TV I put out my old one with a note to say it’s working with the manual, remote control and all needed cables. Same with other furnitures and equipment I replaced. PS- this is for FAB daddy you look tired in this video please ensure to take care of yourself, rest up well when not working as you mentioned in previous video you worked 12 hrs shift per day. Even though it’s 4 days working and 3 days off it could still have a toll on the body. God bless both FAB mummy and daddy and very very soon FAB babies will come and join you. God bless you both 😊

tip - open your windows when cooking and showering, also don't dry your clothes inside. if you have to open windows. biggest cause of mold is drying clothes inside and not opening windows. speaking as a landlord

renting in uk has got more difficult due to uk legislation, cost of living crisis, shortage of rental properties. as a landlord/agent i ask all my tenants regardless who they are the following documents: last 6 months bank statements and payslips (can be from overseas), photo ID - passport, bio-metric residency permits cards (BRP card), uni ID card, uni letter showing how much fees you've paid and how much outstanding, references required from employer, uni & previous landlords, utility bill in your name. documents are required for each adult as well as your guarantor!! so please have these ready at hand, also, we are taking up to 4-6 months advance rent as well as deposit for tenants to move in. this because we don't trust you. we don't trust any tenant! you will also, be held liable for the entire duration of the contract. that means if you want to leave early you will still be liable for rent, bills, council tax. etc, unless landlord allows you to end tenancy early, if you do, you will lose you deposit. to many Nigerians are coming to uk with NO savings and are putting themselves at risk. lying to get properties is foolish... people don't realise landlords, letting agents do attachment of earning, money order claims, small claims courts. if you are planning staying on in uk.. don't break the law, be sensible, pay your bills etc, don't be foolish by scamming landlords etc. you will get stung badly. and you will be sent back. also, factor in the cost council tax, only f/t students are exempt from council tax, your partner is not, and if you have kids you will be paying full rate of council tax.

I can understand your plight but at the same time be careful look at the story behind the sofa, you were just lucky to have someone to tell you what happened to the owner and am sure not just we Africans are wary of things like that because how come no one has not taken it. I knew of a couple who found a matress outside took it in and it happened to have bed bugs, they itched like no mans business later found it was the matress. I personally am OCD rather than using second hand what I do I donn't care how long it will take me I save for every item. My first council flat back in the day, before becoming anhome owner obviously it wasnt furnished but I didn't put myself under presure the first thing I did was rug the whole house and placed bean bag on the floor I didn't care less and with time the whole time got furnished.
