I had this screen for 9 years or so. Was disappointed when it started getting rough as new screens I was looking at sagged and looked like crud. I held out a bought the Kodak 150 at the end of last season. Got to say that frame is solid and has more weight compared to the old Camp Chef. Much better in the wind. I use a firestick and Bluetooth boom boxes to keep the wires down although yours probably sounds better.

Sweet set up. I’m setting mine up for the summer now but I went the cheap route on the screen. Home Depot sells 12’ roll up out door shade blinds. They are great for a screens only $30-40 for a 12 foot screen yours is much nicer but these work great to. I love the PA system your using my neighbors are to close so I use a smaller sound bar but we do the fire, popcorn and s’mores as well. Love your set up thanks for sharing

The speakers are hooked together with a cord. The one speaker has the amp and all the hookups. There is a cord that runs from that speaker to the second speaker. They work great.

You need to downsample the audio to 2-channel. It's trying to decode surround. Many times, this is done on the audio or features menu at the intro screen for the movie.

Not around the lens. But we'll get a few on the white screen. You can't notice them at all during the movie but you can see them once you shut it off. All I do is pat the back of the screen and they usually fly off.

12ft huh... I went a 300"/25ft screen from Amazon, No big deal! Just kidding. But no, seriously I did go with a 25ft screen off Amazon. I used conduit pipe for the side poles, and those are secured to the ground with ropes and corkscrew ground anchors. It's not easy to setup by myself but I get it done when I have to. I went with the Vankyo Performance V630w projector. I wanted an Epson, but couldn't justify the money. The V630w is Native 1080p just like the Epsons I was looking at, only it doesn't get quite as bright. Still gets plenty bright though. You definitely got me beat for sound. I went with the Anker SoundCore Rave+ wireless bluetooth speaker. It's a great speaker for $250. Being made by Anker meant it came with huge battery life, 24hr playback! That huge battery unfortunately means huge weight. Not sure what that huge speaker weighs, but it's a pain in the ass to lug around!
