In this video Mama Goose and I continue our overland adventure down from Mount Shasta Area. We logged a bunch of miles and got a good taste of what the longer trips will be like in our new Ursa Minor Jeep Camper top.
Overall we are extremely pleased with the Ursa Minor, but there are some things about it that I would expect to be a bit better. Find out what there is to know in this video..the good, the bad and the ugly.
We hope you enjoy the video & are all healthy & safe!!!

Here's a hand crank coffee grinder hack: if you remove the handle, you can easily attach a cordless drill to it. :)

Damn, I have to try that. I’ve been thinking about just bringing my electric grinder and plugging it into the inverter. With the amount of coffee I drink, it takes forever with the hand crank. Just got back from a trip to UT and CO, and I’m not kidding when I say that I spent 30m every morning, grinding beans to espresso granularity.

Wow that was a great video! I was nervous at the end for you both but glad to see you made it out without any major issues. Your soo lucky to have a wife that’s so into camping and overlanding as much as you are -kudos! I have an ikamper and was inspired by you to upgrade my mattress to the exped which has been great but have to say that you’ve sparked my interest in the Urser Minor with how easy and intergraded it is, I’ll be looking into it after I get a bit more use out of the ikamper. Do you find the mattress in it comfortably or might you upgrade that one also? How did you find the resale market for the ikamper to be?

Thanks Tommy. Glad to hear you're enjoying the content. And yes, I'm a lucky man. The mattress in the UM is slightly better than the iKamper mattress it came with. But last weekend I replaced the 2" foam mattress with a 4" memory foam. Should be much more comfy on our next trip...Resale market was strong. Like everything right now. Crazy times we're in.

Not a fan of snakes but the rattlesnakes always are hated so much. I'm not sure why? Half the time they leave for you alone when they're annoyed by you they rattled to let you know stay away. What's so bad about that? Will welcome a rattlesnake anytime into my camp over a venomous silent killer. 395 junky myself thank goodness we don't have those.
