The piglets were darling and sooooo tiny for sure. Looks like you guys had a great time and the pups too. It's nice to have a get away even if it is just an over nighter for sure. God's blessings.

I am only three minutes into the video and finding myself going...there is something familiar about the look of those houses and area. Have not seen it in 30 years, but I spent my summers at a family cottage near Marmora, just to the west of the town that bakery is in. What a surprise. Living in South Carolina took what used to be a relatively easy day trip to that area from Baltimore and made it into a chore or a multi-day journey just to get there. Had kids along the way and there were too many things closer to us that gave a similar experience (Upstate South Carolina has the forests, mountains, and waterfalls/lakes that are sure to please) so we stopped going. Generations of our family summered at that old place and it introduced me to the joys of fishing, boating, keeping the woodshed filled, operating the woodstove, emptying the chamber pots, carrying water in buckets from a neighbors well down the way, and of course, living in harmony with the mosquitos and deer flies. Wouldn't trade it for the world and I find myself yearning to live that way again. Thanks for sharing your vids and please keep posting the great content. new sub.

Your Cabin is most impressive. I do wonder, however, the choice for the placement of the outdoor grill in such a close proximity to the dry woodpile with NO insulated barrier between the two. Let me help you out even though you live in the north and territory where there’s a lot of snow and cold air. If you’re driving a truck the only thing you need to do is make sure when you pack it. Everything is shut off inside the truck number two when you get in the truck in the morning or whenever and you want to start it up slash your lights one time that will give you a charge from your battery directly to your starter when the truck is completely started and running properly, let the heat build up before you turn it on will save you trouble and your truck won’t break down as much in a cold weather if possible try to cover it or put it in in the garage or put it in someplace you can get it at you could connect the cover to a tree or two trees or two poles so you can get underneath it and keep it less snow on it I do it all the time you can even buy them now like portable garage is they open up put the car in and close them the Chinese and you can buy it Just a heads up AlanMassachusetts
