Tom! One thing you can do for noise pollution, is add sound barriers. They can be found in the Road Tab and they go on your highways. You can also add street lighting to your highways, and it will allow them to transport electricity.

Love this series Tom! Just fyi you can remove crossings from roads - which you might want to do at busy junctions. You can replace them with bridges or underpasses so people and cars don't get in each other's way!

Lane mathmatics tom! In prep for an offramp on your highway add another lane so the new lane can go off and people going straight can stay in the same lanes, then after the offramp reduce it back down so that you don't just get tonnes of people changing all over the place on a six lane road.

You can also build road and traintracks directly on top of roads to create a American style stacked spaghetti. However for some reason it doesnt work on top of highways that well

11:25 Ah yes, the best way to deal with noise pollution, replace it with something noisier. (don't own the game yet but I know from personal experience, train stations are one of the noisiest things to live near, so if somehow the train station (one of the nosiest buildings in the first game) is quieter than a police hq there is something wrong there)

To gain access to the full roster of props you need to turn on developer mode. It's technically "cheating", the props won't cost anything, but who gives a flipping damn? AFAIK they're inaccessible otherwise. Who knows why?

Yeah the main railyard just has that one variant which is huge. I think they could've made the main asset just a single, and some of the expansion upgrades would let you just tack more lanes onto the side
