McHenry is my Congressman, so what he does and says matters to me. Just looking at the last two videos, I'm not certain what the issue is here. Is it Bitcoin and other crypto currencies? My own opinion is that most of these things are worthless tokens used solely for speculation, something akin to a Bingo game. I would hope McHenry and his fellow Republicans would want these kinds of gambling devices removed from the markets. What they should do is go after the SEC and punish them for manipulating down the prices of gold and silver -- which are Constitutional MONEY. They should not be taxed as collectibles or stocks or commodities. They should be allowed to be freely traded in honest markets. McHenry and Republicans should start by rewriting the rules for gold and silver futures markets to get rid of the massive leverage used in futures derivatives whose only function is to manipulate the prices downward through massive naked shorts.
