Our Perfect Day at CocoCay Adventure | Bianca got STUNG by a Jellyfish Snorkeling | Dinner at Chops!

Cruise Week Day Two- In today's video it's our perfect day at CocoCay in the Bahamas. We wake up with a beautiful view of Royal Caribbean's private island and head to breakfast at windjammer before getting off the ship for the day. Right before we make it to deck 1 we forgot we had to go to deck 11 to check out towels first. After that we finally make it off the Independence of the Seas and make our way over to chill island for some sun bathing and snorkeling for the morning. I spent a little over an hour in the water snorkeling but right before we started to make our way out of the water Bianca got stung by a jellyfish so we quickly make a stop at first aid. Next we walk over to Oasis Lagoon which is the largest freshwater pool in the Caribbean. After some fun in the sun it's lunch time and on CocoCay they throw a big barbecue with a lot of different food options that you can't find on board the ship which is very nice. Next up we head over to south beach which is the calmer side of the island with less people and hardly any children for some more fun and snorkeling to try to find a stingray. Finally once we make it back on the ship we discuss somethings that we have really been enjoying on this vacation thus far. And we end the night at Chops Grille which is the fine dining steakhouse on board for a full dining review. Thank you so much for watching, if you enjoyed this video please give it a big thumbs up!

Oh,I feel your pain Bianca.When I was 10 years old I swam into a large mass of jellyfish. I was stung all over my body.The pain was excruciating.Since then I only do pools.Feel better soon Bianca.

What an awesome vacation! You both were really enjoying each other and the nice adventure. My best experience ever on vacation was snorkeling at Castaway Cay! I had never snorkeled before. It really left a great memory. We saw a barracuda with some large teeth and decided it was lunch time. There was only a half hour left on the serving of lunch. What an awesome day.

I have to laugh, when I was there on the island in December i was at the beach club, I was walking out and thought I saw a chicken, the woman said you did hahaha. When I was there last week I was at southbeach. There was a little shark that swam up snd freaked everyone out. I loved that everything was right there but at low tide the sand was mushy. I love CoCoCay, cant wait to go back in October.

I just don't get the obsession with Disney cruises. Besides Carnival... I am a huge fan of Celebrity, Royal and Norwegian. Celebrity Edge is the best we've been on so far! @@InMyCruisingEra Try it! The Edge class ships are beautiful! Modern and amazing! If you are a foodie... its a dream with all types of cuisine. Even by teenagers had an excellent time. They are wanting to go back. The only thing that I felt could have improved were the production shows. They were "old school" cruise shows. The live music, cruise staff and shopping are great! Service... exceptional!

Hope Bianca was ok. Had the same fun with a jellyfish sting a few years ago at Cococay. Next time it is the pool for me. Have done snorkeling and snuba in the ocean and never had any issues but close to shore those darn jellies are on the hunt.

I hope you try Princess and/or Celebrity cruises sometime. Disney is obviously better than Royal, but we absolutely loved our Celebrity cruises. They are miles above the others for service, food & just the wow factor.

I was on Symphony of the Seas this past week and had a Perfect Day at Coco Cay as well! I enjoyed the snorkeling at Chill Island. The waves were a little choppy and I was afraid I was going to get smacked into the underwater cannons. So I didn’t hang out in that area too long. Can’t wait to visit it again!

@@PCDev It was a nice ship! This was my first RC cruise. Great customer service and good food. Once it goes to 100% capacity, it may seem very crowded. It was around 60% what I heard. I had done Carnival cruises previously. For me, they were about the same. I think I prefer Carnival due to price point. But that is me!

I agree that DCL is top notch but I prefer Coco Cay over Castaway and it isn't even close. To me the pool makes all the difference. Your jelly fish experience is an example of why I prefer having the pool and after being in the small pools on the ship it is so great. A child in our group had the jelly fish experience on Castaway one year. I also preferred the food on Coco Cay just because I seemed to have more options. You can't go wrong with either option but now that my child is grown RCCL works best for me for price and adult entertainment. I will say that I met friends on Disney that I'm still friends with but have never had that experience on RCCL. On Disney there are fewer adult options so everyone seems to congregate at the same places but on Royal I seldom see the same people twice. Thanks for another great review Dev!
