Yes! This is just the video I needed to see! I want to do a character dining meal at Disneyland and I think I am pretty set on Goofy's Kitchen but I was so curious about this one too so it is fab to see what it is like! So cool you get to meet so many characters and Suzy too! What a rare treat!

So glad you enjoyed it! I am going to Goofy’s Kitchen for dinner actually tonight! Yes Plaza Inn was good for the characters and relatively inexpensive, but if memory serves me correctly, you’re vegan, right? Yeah, unfortunately, there weren’t too many vegan choices, but I am sure the chefs can whip up something!

Thank you SO much for doing this video! My guy and I are visiting Disneyland in March, and I was able to book breakfast at Plaza Inn, so I've been curious as to what it will be like.

Do you have to make a reservation to dine in for breakfast?

Great question! For the Plaza Inn Character Breakfast, a reservation is highly recommended. This is a fairly popular breakfast, but walk-ups may become available the day of your visit. Of course, your party’s size may impact availability, so I would definitely try to plan and book ahead if possible. If you’re asking about the park reservations, then yes, you need a park reservation at Disneyland to dine at this spot. Keep in mind, park hopping is at 11 am, so if you had a park reservation in Disney California Adventure, you might not be able to make it since Disneyland is pretty strict about their park hopping policy. Hope this helps!

So if you get a reservation for 8am sharp, you have to wait for rope drop at 8am in order to get in line at the restaurant?

Sadly yes… The cast member wouldn’t let me or other guests who had an 8 am rez through until rope had dropped.

You bet! Yeah with Cinderella’s Royal Table, getting an early breakfast Rez is one way to get away from the rope dropping crowed. Here, not as much. Lol. Hope you have a great one!

I have a question in this video you are by yourself can you still make make a reservation inside the park or on the app?

Absolutely! And a great question! You can absolutely reserve a table for one in the app and in the parks! I travel by myself a lot and haven’t had any issues. In fact, sometimes it is a bit easier to get a walk up as a single traveler if they can just squeeze you at the bar or lounge area of a restaurant, which generally offers the same food selection. Hope this helps!
