I loved the Chicken/Squirrel. It made me laugh. Your family is so sweet. As the pressures of moving get higher and higher remember to be gracious to others as well as to yourself.

Definitely give your self grace! My husband and I run a fiber mill and alpaca farm. The owners decided to take down the 200 yr old farmhouse- (mold and other issues) we’ve been living in out 28 ft camper since March 12… only a month ago did we get running water.we are in New England. I had to give myself grace and not think I could do all I normally do. Our new house is almost complete. I felt I should have started seedling and dug out new gardens. Well I’m glad I didn’t. Just unpacking and settling the house while working the mill and farm is all we can do. I’m now 62 and am just learning its ok. Watching another video of yours you were working at a high tunnel and we’re saying you were coming to terms it’s okay to say no and not feeling you have to be superwoman. It’s great you learned it at a young age!!

JILL..make sure u label the boxes or totes u have in large print and do it on all sides.because when men stack stuff they usually don’t pay attention to the writing and u will regret it when looking for something while in the pod..(like kitchen stuff u would need or kids stuff hehe)..my husband was in Germany and I was waiting on housing b4 me and the kids went over.he had to go over so fast so it was left up to me to move all our house into storage because I was moving out of our home we had sold.my sister-in-law and myself were the only 2 that moved furniture, refrig stoves, and all the furniture and boxes ect into a big haul and stack it so we didn’t make 50 trips..then stack it all in a storage unit.I was amazed at what we got accomplished and we were soo proud when done.how we did that I’ll never know.Lolol….take your time with settling in and don’t feel like u have to do everything at once.u will overwhelm yourself..wish I was close,I’d help u..god bless!!❤️

After over 40 years we moved from NE to AZ. I was amazed at how much the off-duty fire fighters were able to pack into a 16’ POD. We used a blowup mattress and a card table so we could have the beds & mattresses loaded into the POD. The fire fighters did an excellent job of packing. Two large curio cabinets made the trip without damage.

I love your family. We are a military family stationed at JBLM up in Washington state and my 2 littles love growing veggies and herbs in our backyard. It's all in pots because we move a lot. We started 2 years ago just with a couple of tomato and pepper plants. Now we have 6 peppers, 5 tomatoes and 8 different herbs growing right now. And over the winter I tried growing garlic and onions and it actually turned out. Wasn't perfect but we did get some of each. I just love that my kids love gardening. My daughter eats the cherry tomatoes from the vine. I'm excited to try a fall garden this year too. And once we get to our next duty station that we will be at for a couple of years, I want to go bigger and try even more veggies.

Yes, what you do in your season, do it well. This season is one of transition...so "Transition well" transition is so important. Get to know your new home, it will show you the way. When we moved into our Victorian, no one knew there were stone patios and pathways on our hill. But one day I uncovered some. 20 years later...they are all uncovered after 200 years.. and lots of effort. Embrace life where you are planted ❤️

we used a pod to move from PA to TX and for the most part it went well. We did lose our dining room table because we didn't pack it correctly though. We should have put it in upside down and on top of some padding. We packed it standing upright with some stuff on top of it. Don't do what we did.

You will never be sorry for making an outdoor kitchen. Living in Florida, I am able to be outside most everyday of the year. Shortly after moving here, it was obvious that I was having a problem forcing myself inside to prepare lunch and dinner (😇) so my hubbers built me a beautiful outdoor kitchen which we later added a pizza oven to. Now it is seldom that I cook indoors - from morning coffee to supper! We not only grill but have my Instant Pot, Nuwave countertop, Nuwave oven, air fryer etc. outside. And it didn’t cost a lot either. Lots of the cabinets, the sink, the on demand hot water heater, etc all came from Craigslist! Just a thought so that you would know that you may get your dream fulfilled sooner than you’d think! Interview with the girls was adorable. They are just beautiful children - inside as well as outside!! Sending Blessings to you and yours!!
