Hi Dutch, My name is Cassie. I live in Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin Our high here was 88 today It is just after 8 pm CST and it is still 81*F and feels like 86* right now We suppose to get thunderstorms after 10pm here according to the weather Channel app. That always mean a chance of Tornados here. This is been a bad year for them this year here. We just had one not long ago in Elkhorn, WI. That is south of were I live and is near Chicago. We had one far is only 7 miles away a few months back. It was 9:30 at night when the sirens went off. We live in a trailer in a hugh park. The nearest shelter is 3 blocks away by car. If there is a tornado on the ground there is no way we could get to shelter in time because all three of us are disabled and would have trouble getting to shelter in time.. We in God's hands in that case. Love your videos and both you and Joy's channels. God Bless You and Your Family Cassie

Watching from Palmer, Ak and sometimes all of my family oh about 12 and one more little one on they way . When it is all of us we are in Eagle River-Anchorage Alaska! Are weather has been anywhere from 50 to 83 but mostly around 65 and rain rain lol but here we do everything we can rain or shine because summer is way to short 23 hour days but only 3 to 4 months of summer mostly 3 months then fall that is beautiful all kinds of gorgeous colors . Then winter the days are short and The nights are long 19 to 20 hours of darkness 4 to 5 hours of daylight . lol 😂. So when breakup comes, we get excited! That would be when the son starts to meld and everything is a wet muddy mess . But the trees grow new leaves and lots of us are just waiting to plans our gardens but around June 1 st. Summer is right around the corner. Yahoo fishing Time ! ❤🥰🙏🏼🤣😂

Hi Dutch, We're in east Tennessee, and the high today was 90, and the low tonight will be around 70. We have had most every day for the last week or so. I enjoy all of your videos. I admire Hope for sticking close by your side. I remember being her age and always staying close to my Dad. He owned a car repair shop and a wrecker service. I learned how to work on cars, change oil, change tires, do tune-ups, and run the wrecker when he was ill. What a life! My Dad and Mom have passed on, but I still think of them every day and all the happy memories we made together. Enjoy your girls while they're still at home, they grow up so fast.

I am from SE MIssouri and I still get the weather warnings for my daughters area, Jackson, MO, and it is hot hot there too. I actually live in Kenya where you would think it is hot, but we are in our winter months, opposite of you where the nighttime temps are around 75 or lower. Some areas of Kenya are in the hight 50's at night. Then during the day, we get about 80-85, but we are on the south coast. We live 150 feet from the great white sands beach of Diani Beach, listed as one of the top beachers in Africa. It is beautiful and the temp is fairly moderate year round. We do get hot temps from Dec-March, and I do run my AC during those months but the rest of the year, the AC is on only part time, if at all. Power is way too expensive to run it all the time, so cold showers several times a day (or a pool cool off, or a run in the ocean) keep us cool during those months. Off to go snorkeling on our beautiful reef.

Here in Austin TX this is usually our drought season too. This time last year temps were 105°f +, add in humidity and temps rivaled death valley California. Just north of here the lampasas river ran dry for the first time in over 20 years and all over the area both in town and outside we had birds dropping out of trees dead from the heat. This year we haven't topped 100 and it's dug days of summer already. We keep getting late season rain storms ranging from mild showers of basically drizzling fir at most a hour to basically late season monsoons. Winter usually is mostly monsoon season of 3-4 months ranging from 50s to below freezing and lots of hurricane force winds with monsoon rainstorms sometimes lasting days to us getting sleet (partially frozen rain that turns into ice, often black ice on the ground) we sometimes get snow but sleet, nasty rain , and hail are the majority. Oklahoma is a decent clip north of central Texas so I'm surprised it's quite that hot even in summer. My grandma was from Oklahoma as is my ex and I do know it gets mighty hot there and in some places humid as opposed to dry heat sane as here. I know you guys get snow more though so I'm surprised it's as hot as it is. Guess our climate and yours isn't as different as I thought. Heck, usually by like March we are under pretty much state wide burn bans but definitely most if not all of central Texas especially Austin and the hill country because of the massive fire risk. The hill country has loads of cedar trees not to mention the piney woods forest that had massive wild fire about a decade ago. That freaked me out because at that time my college bestie and her family lived in that area and were likely in the fire path so I did everything I could to get a hold of her for days to make sure her and her girls were safe. Thankfully they were though as a precaution they'd had to seek refuge in town in case their home burnt down. They were preoccupied with emergency protocols and stuff and not charging their phone for a couple days in the chaos. I was so freaking glad they were all right. She may not be family by blood but she's more family to me than most that is has ever been. Her 2 eldest I've known since they were 5&2, her youngest is a month older than my boy. I've at this point known the woman almost 20 years so her safety as well as her daughters is very important to me. Her 2 eldest are grown now and her youngest and my own son are 14. They are family in every way except blood and I'm not one to take that lightly. Loyalty trust, resoext are earned not given and once you have earned mine I'm fiercely loyal and protective, often to a fault or my detriment. And that woman I owe both mine and my child's life to more times than I can count. So I had to know she was ok since I'd cut and bleed for her without hesitation and I know for a fact she'd so the same as she has shown as much. But yeah, not envious of the brutal summer weather you guys have up there in Oklahoma since that's normal here with the exception of this year for whatever reason.

I worked on a highway crew on I-40 going into Oklahoma City when it was 110 degrees out. That was 41~42 years ago. You all had signs posted along the highway that said, "Do Not Drive Into Smoke" 🤔 😉 That grass was super flammable. You do a little grinding, and then you gotta chase all these little fires that startup from the sparks... before you cause that smoke they were talking about. Some of you Okies were falling out from the heat, work a day or two and that was it. The food around there was the best, even the grits tasted good, the best biscuits & gravy, peach cobbler, great family style restaurants, the truck stop food was good... (not so much in Eastern Oklahoma bordering Arkansas 😝 [sorry]).

Dutch are you thinking about making it a permanent fence where you have the electric one for the horses so Gunner can go out there with the horses and you can allow them to go out there when they want. You can plant wild grass and other feed plants for the horses. If the fence is ok for the pigs to go out there too. But not with the horses unless you think they will get along. Sometimes, some farmers let their pigs and cattle together in a paster. The gross thing is though that the pigs will root through poop after corn. As for the weather, one day cool in the low 80s and then back in the high 90s with storms. Like Monday night we had storms with a tornado sighted but lucky it did not cause damage. Went down and back up too quickly to cause damage.

Super hot and humid here in southern Missouri. I live off grid very rugged. I had an ER visit a week ago and they think I may have an unexpected auto immune thing going on that causes my body to attack my muscle, skin, joints and bones to cause severe cramping in my hips and legs. I thought maybe I was dehydrated though they said I wasn't. Still hurting pretty bad after more than 10 days now so praying it runs the course quickly. I do have an a/c unit but it's too expensive to run the generator for hours at a time. It's actually easier to stay in the shade of my forest with a wet towel wrapped around my shoulders and the breeze cools me. I sleep with a small USB fan on me. If you ever have an extra solar power bank you don't want, think of me!! 😂 The last couple nights have been pretty warm but it's been getting down in the 60's until now. Our weather man says we're gonna be having highs in the 60's in a week or two which is great working weather to start prepping for winter so gotta hurry up and get to feeling better soon! Got lots of firewood to work on! Blessings, Texas Deb ❤

Hi Dutch! I live in south central Kentucky and we had a downpour 2 or 3 times yesterday, rain off and on today and this evening and chances of rain the rest of the week. Today the high was 85 and it’s going to be in the high 80’s - low 90’s. It’s not your 100’s, thank goodness!! But the humidity is still awful. Love your alls video and I’m always glad to see how hard working Brandy your girls are. I’m a little jealous, as I can’t do much anymore. God bless you all!!✝️✝️✝️❤️🌹

Dutch, that hoover looks so cool! The main thing is your health! If you have a heat stroke, it ain't gonna do anyone or thing good. So work on the projects as you have.

We had a couple of nice weeks in SE WI, but humidity is up and temps in the 80s. August is when we get big temps swings and our biggest storms in terms of rain. It has been dry for a week +, before that is was raining so much I rarely had to water the garden. I hope the crops are doing well. Central WI was so wet it was too muddy to plant or fields were flooded. We can't seem to count on the weather being the same as it was, but I don't mind the last couple milder winters. I hate ice, slush, shoveling, etc. Farmers almanac says early fall. Average frost is early October, but it is a killer if it comes in mid Sept. Last year we didn't get a first frost until the killer frost in November. Every season is different now.

HI!! I live in Grand Forks, North Dakota. All week it will be in the high 80's to low 90's. I'm just glad I don't have to work outside. I love your videos. The make me feel at home! When I was growing up, we had a farm like that. But the years I graduated from high school we had 300 baby pigs. The were so cute. At six weeks, we started selling them. Hope it cools down for you.

Hey Dutch. I'm in South Texas and today was high 90's with 85% humidity. It's been very hot here also lately. With my COPD, I cannot take the heat & humidity anymore. Have to stay indoors & still have some problems with my breathing. Oven turning up my Oxygen liters doesn't help. Stay COOL, stay Hydrated & stay safe. Luv ya's: GRAM👵in Tx. 🙏❤

NorthCentral Pa is warm, but not hot like you are. We are ontop a mountain next to a watershed. We get regular rain, today we got some. Advice about dogs, they need shaved. I had a Shepador, and she would get hot in summer. I started taking her to groomer to get ‘shed’ in June, to give time to grow back for winter. One of my cats needs buzzed, she’s a long haired calico, she goes the groomer on Thursday, she matted really bad. Since it’s late in the season, long haired dogs and cats should get a number #2 as opposed to a #0. Shepherds and Labs have thick under coats that take literally a full day to dry if they get wet, and it’s uncomfortable for them.

Hover is the best shots in a long time. Gunner needs a trip to the creek to cool off.🌊 be careful what the horses are eating there are many plants that are toxic or can cause them to founder
