A couple of months ago, the person that lived next door had to move from their house. It's sitting empty so I started cutting the yard for them since they can't take care of it. It was starting to look really bad and I was afraid that squatters would move in. I don't know what the people are going to do with it yet. I keep the yard looking nice for them! My other neighbor needs a little help with his yard so I started cutting part of it in front to help him out too. I'm 60 but have a riding mower so helping out isn't that big of a deal. Watching your videos inspired me! Thanks!!

Years ago a doctor told me he was busy and neglected his dental health until it was toothache time. Trapped in the chair he had to listen to the dentist chew him out and give a lecture o how mouth health affects the whole body. He said he never forgot and always checked with his patients after that about dental health and caught stuff early for them.

Dentists are self-employed professions. I’ve had second opinions and they always differ. I’ve gotten to where I don’t trusts dentists at all. The medical community is becoming the same way.. they love to order tests, but can’t diagnose problems with simple solutions. EXAMPLE: a pinched nerve I had in my shoulder. After X-rays and mri’s they detected bone spurs. Prescribed $150 generic celebrex that did absolutely nothing to help. Turned out weeks later after googling I found some neck exercises for a pinched nerve that going into the back and shoulder. It was coming from osteoporosis of the neck vertebrae. After doing the exercises for a week, the pain went away. DUH! Call me a skeptic, but my experiences from the last few decades has me so distrusting of the medical community. I’m 75, btw.

Hi Al, RDH here. For your oral surgery appointment drink lots of water/ hydrate the day before. Definitely tell the OS that you’re nervous. Wear your earbuds with your favorite music (something calm is preferable) and wear your sunglasses- do not look at the equipment. It’s scary looking because they’re tools that have certain jobs, and that’s not always pretty. Use nitrous oxide (let the office know in advance), and you should be good. It’s alright to be nervous, it’s normal. After the OS follow the directions you will receive on paper. Definitely use ice packs, do not smoke if you do smoke, get lots of rest afterwards. It’s gonna take time to correct your dental needs but it’s definitely worth it. And I’m someone who’s had way more than their share of dental work as a younger person, braces, extractions, etc. and it took becoming a dental assistant that helped me with my fear. Think of it as like working on an overgrown yard… it takes some work in order to get it back, it’s not easy, but it’s well worth it in the long run. Remember, your fans love you and want the best for you, take the time that you need to get better. And ask God for peace as you approach the dentist. He’s good about providing His peace.

I do container container gardening. That summer i had around 240 pots. This year i fell and cracked my strum. My pot count is over 320. You have inspired me. I should add i am 67 years old, i have 2 autoimmune diseases diseases. But i also have a great God. He guides and provides. Take care of yourself then you are able to care for others. Oral health is very important. You are right on that. My grandpa died before I was born. He had a heart attack. The doctor said it was in part because he never brushed his teeth. He was an old timey farmer and didn't think brushing his teeth was important. Apparently gum disease is very bad for your heart, but I don't think people knew that back then. It isn't even common knowledge now. He was only 52. He also got struck by lightning and survived, so I'm sure that was the most major factor. He decided to go out to the well and fetch some water during a storm, which is probably a worse idea than not brushing your teeth.

Two weeks ago had more surgery to remove the molar next to the first that also had a root canal and failed. Just got stitches out last week. Other than the expected swelling and ache that an ice pack helped, the pain faded fast in about 2 days, and Tylenol took care if it. So glad you figured out the issue and are taking care of it. Couple of days and you'll be feeling so much better. You have a gorgeous property and home. So nice you have the right equipment to care for it, and the skills. Best wishes!!

I had spinal surgery several years ago, after putting it off for 5 years. I just want you to know that I used to think I was a baby about pain. My surgery was pretty serious (basically cut in half - from the front to my spinal column & from the back as well). When I woke up from the anesthesia the next morning, I felt like a switch had been turned off to my pain. I didn't even have much pain from the surgery! That was when I realized I was SO not a baby about pain. I had just gotten so used to the pain that when the problem was fixed in surgery, I knew I could endure pain much better than I thought I could. You'll be surprised at how much you endured. If you trust your dentist & surgeon, you will be do much better for having gone through the bad & come out the other side. God bless you!

Hey Al, I know exactly how you feel!! And my wife is a Dental Hygienist!!!!! I had mouth full of braces when I was a kid, so having people poke around in my mouth isn't my favorite thing. But the first comment is absolutely correct, your mouth is between your brain and heart, and abscess in your mouth could kill you. Most people don't believe that, but it's true the head aches are the final warnings. Good thing you paid attention to them and sought out an answer. Don't be afraid of the surgery, you'll be either sleeping or in what they call twilight, that's where you're out and sort of asleep, you will still respond to directions. Make sure after you don't suck on a straw, or if you smoke a cigarette, you could end up with a dry socket. That's a exposed nerve, if that happens put a wet tea bag over the socket and get to the emergency dentist if you can, the tea bag should sooth the socket and relieve any pain, or at least temper it. Good luck Al, we'll be praying for you and for a fast recovery! It's scary but it has to be fixed, and show your kids how brave Daddy is! Don't give them the fear of dentists, or they'll fight you not to go! 😄😄🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍👍🎉🎉🎂 Besides you got this, I'd be more afraid of the snakes and spiders y'all have down there!!??!!!

Yes! I'm familiar with tooth infection! Had one a long time, didn't realize how bad it was, took stuff from the health food store. It got worse while I had to travel. By the time I got into the dentist who made me wait 2 weeks, I actually went to bed a couple nights thinking I may not wake up. I told dentist 2 needed pulled, no he did one and wants me to do a wildly expensive bone surgery which I can't afford. Now the other tooth needs to be pulled like I told him in the first place! I'm not a dentist, nor do i play one on TV, but speaking from experience, take care of your oral health. Believe it or not bad teeth/oral health can kill you quickly if you don't stay on top of it. I fought with oral abscesses due to bad snd crumbling teeth for a couple of decades. The infections can and does effect your whole body health. I finally just had to hav all mine extracted this year. I feel better and have so much more energy now. I'm sure the true dentist in the comments will agree with me to keep your natural teeth as long as possible, but pay attention to the signs of issues. I know it can be expensive, but it is more important than we realize. Hang in there brother. Wishing you a speedy recovery, but at the same time be patient and give yourself time to do so properly. 👍

100%, teeth trouble can kill you. I had a bad tooth that abscessed, it was a really nasty one. I started getting really sick, pneumonia type symptoms. I lost a third of my body weight in 2 months, started coughing up blood. I thought I was a gonna and had lung cancer or similar. I went to a specialist and after a heap of scans tests etc they found a growth the size of an orange in my right lung but they still weren't sure what it was because it didn't really look like the usual cancer on the x-rays and MRI scans. They were about to send me for biopsies and it wasn't till talking with the specialist and I mentioned I'd had a really bad tooth abscess just before getting really sick that he had a Eureka moment. He clicked, sat up surprised and said "you had a tooth abscess"? Straight away he said I think I know what it is now. The abscess had gone from my mouth to my lung. He said this is old world stuff, people use to die from it regularly before the 1800's. A couple of scripts of really strong anti biotics and it eventually shrunk. So yeah it's certainly nothing to mess with or take lightly.

I am 81 years old you know. When I was young I was sick a lot. My Doctor prescribed a lot of penicilan(sp) for everything. Not so good I found out at 18 I was allergic to it and I had ruined my teeth. They were soft and could not hold any type of filler. I had three root canels done in 6 month that did no good. The teeth fell apart and had to be pulled. Eventuually all had to be pulled. I know how you are feeling. Nothing like your head hurting. I am so sorry and am praying for you. No one can know how you feel because it is like back pain you don't show it. ❤❤❤❤❤

Al, my father had dental issues his entire life that, more often than not, he ignored. Because of this, his heart was impacted, which eventually caused his passing. Don't let dental issues wait! I am terrified of the dentist, too, so I listen to a hypnosis video to calm me during any procedures. You can be sedated during it as well. Im sending courageous energy your way! 🙏

You are special and you are loved. I really understand because my daughter (54) has long Covid and has been sick for months. She is scheduled for another surgery in 2 weeks and she is really nervous. But, I love her no matter what and I know many love you, too. Just be yourself, get all the help you can and come back without without grass.

Love your yard, but wow so much work. But looks great. Sorry about your medical issues. I am praying for your healing and praying for your recovery and really hope it was your teeth issues that have been your problems, but now hoping you are the road to recovery and feel better now. Take care and looking forward to further videos. You will be so grateful when your mouth work is completed. Hugs sent from Saskatchewan Canada.

Al the Big Bladez is back!! Dude, impacted wisdom teeth almost drove me to illegal drugs as the pain was unbelievable, it was the weekend, no doctor, in canada the emergency room does not do anything!! for teeth pain. Impacted teeth can kill a person, which it did in the olden days so they are no jokke. I wish you all the best Al. Remember as your laying there to embrace the surgery as its bringing you home safe and sound to your family a better man. You cant get enough of this surgery, I need more!! Bring it, I'm a badass when it comes to my family. All the best to you and yours!!

Years ago a researcher talked about that teeth issues often underlaid all kinds of problems. Another branch of research said our teeth connect to various organs, so, get a sick tooth and that organ can be specifically affected as well. Very glad you continue to unravel problems and work on solutions. Because of your good examples and coaching, you have people out helping others while you have a chance to heal, and we'd all like to see you do well.

Root canal is bad to do now cause you can have a infection which can't be seen by ex ray or blood work and you feel ok but the mild infection can cause heart problems.

Infections are life threatening if left untreated. My son at 17, almost died from an ingrown hair in his armpit. He went septic, was going into toxic shock. His blood pressure was in the toilette and to make the story short, was placed in pediatric ICU. I believe the ICU supervisor saved his life by staying overtime and on top of his condition to finally get his vitals stabilize. God bless! It’s wonderful you caught it before that point. Good luck! You’ll be good to go after surgery! Prayers, missed your videos.

🌴Ya know it is as if there a endless opportunities for people to die.... A arm pit hair going septic .So this is off topic but wanted to share if onions are a craving to a mom to be onions that appear dirty and you peel off layers and wash the onion but still doesn't matter if a onion has been infected with a fungus if pregnant will cause ear damage.I wanted to share because these possibilities used to be a well known understandings that get lost.Touching on the subject of septic that is only a old persons problem if bad hygiene that should never be a young persons male or female problem.I'd like to say God doesn't want you or anyone there in that type of situation. But why another reason is ibuprofen if an infection is present ibuprofen if taken as normal will 🦇 do the opposite of a inflammatory but keep a flammatory around as if the problem is still present even if months year or years later. That if dealing with a infection always switch to another pain reliever and also Tylenol is good for the switch but not to change to because of the massive damage to liver & kidneys massive to only use Tylenol as a only temporary till the infection is gone. But why young people die from high caffeine on top of is because the inflammation doesn't leave the body from great amazing rest or regular good rest and the caffeine keeps the heart pumping as running all day and the heart tires out from even a can of pop.🌌 So to keep in mind to get off ibuprofen if dealing with a infection and drastically lower your caffeine intake.🌄 I'm glad you brought it up never would have have thought a arm pit would do that, haha.🐝 There is a good soap called Safe Guard with aloe almost very 3 times the bacteria cleaning power of Dial soap so ya know and works incredible for body aches.Sounds ridiculous but that is why to give it shot.🫧 It is said using a anti bacterial is bad but it is not what is bad is when not using anti bacterial soap detergent even bottled water becomes inflamed with bacteria is the killing efforts that are just deathtremental. That it is the build up of bacteria not the anti efforts that are dangerous. If using anti bacterial soap not as a cleaner but as a soap it is the preventative efforts that stop bacteria from entering and growing strong.🧼 It is the build up of bacteria and the weakening of the immunity that causes resistance because the lack of efforts strengthen bacteria not the other way around.🎇 Over using anti bacterial only is not the best solution for cleaning there are plenty of options there but anti bacterial soap is the correct choice. And prevents bacteria from getting stronger and out of check that provides strangers with a terrible opinion that anti bacterial soap is bad and that is the truth.🌮

So a few years back I had a cracked molar. Couldn't be fixed. It had to be pulled. While they were there they asked if I wanted my wisdom teeth removed for very short money since I was already going to be under. Sure, why not. So I had 5 pulled that day. Literally yesterday I had a crown put on the back molar on the other side of my mouth because it too had cracked but at least this time they didn't have to pull it. You'll probably be out for the procedure so don't sweat it. Just follow what the instructions for taking care of yourself are. No straws. You'll be back feeling awesome in no time. Nice yard by the way. Awesome property.

My Dad, a dentist, said "the mouth is the gateway to the body". If anything in your mouth is infected (absesses) you must take care of it or else it may spread to the rest of your body. By what you said in the video it has done so. Regular check ups are important and now you know why. I wish you well after all the surgery and hope you can get back doing what you love to do besides fishing.
