This song was published in 1985 yet is so modern you wouldn't tell it's almost 40yo 😊 Antonella Ruggiero aka Matia the lead singer today Nov 15th is 70yo... a couple of months ago she performed an acoustic rendition and although slower her voice is still amazing and last week French music producer Bob Sinclair released a remixed version very modern. Also if you wish to explore a bit more atypical (meaning not stereotyped) Italian music in 1972 Adriano Celentano composed a song that is considered the very first rap specimen....a charismatic artist Celentano, today 85yo, wrote the song thinking about incommunicability and how english might sound to all the non english speaking people (i.e. a lot at the time)... so he wrote his lyrics in gibberish what you hear is totally invented and not representing any spoken language. The title of the song is "Prisencolinensinainciusol" and below is the link to a tv show performance, the lady talking and playing harmonic is actually his wife.
