I noticed that the adults don't shout at the children when they pacify them even if the boys are rowdy. They talked to them with love and respect even if they are children. Tip for slicing the jackfruit. Wipe the knife with cooking oil so that it will not stick to the sap of the fruit. The seeds can also be eaten. Just wash them then boil them. The texture will be similar to chestnut.

Jackfruit seeds can be boiled and when are cooked are rich in fiber and vitamin-B complex. Here's how to cook it according to Google: (1) In a large pot, cover the seeds with water, adding about an inch of water above the seeds. (2) Bring the water and seeds to a boil, then reduce to a rolling simmer. (3) Boil for 20-30 minutes, or until the seeds are tender. (4) Drain the pot and let the seeds cool and dry. Happy eating.

Hi Liza, to get rid of ants, I used White vinegar, available at all grocery stores, is a cheap and effective way to kill and repel ants. It’s also a natural cleaning agent. Try using a 1-to-1 vinegar and water mixture to clean hard surfaces, including floors and countertops, wherever ants are likely to travel. If you see ants, spray the mixture on them or wipe them up with a paper towel. Ants can smell the vinegar after it dries, but the scent doesn’t remain long for most people. Liza, next time you have jackfruit to eat, don’t throw the seeds inside the jackfruit. You can boil it and cook it in a pot with a bit of salt in boiling water for 45 minutes or until it’s tender. Then let it cool down and you have to peel the skin of the jackfruit seed, it got a white soft flesh and It taste like a chestnuts . it’s good for snacks. I hope you try this .

Langka (jackfruit) is nice with banana saba (plantain). Either wrap the banana and langka in lumpia wrapper thrn fry or boil the banana in water and brown sugar then when cooked, add langka, milk and ice. 😊 For sure there are varieties of combination and ways of cooking them but those 2 are some of the common ones. 😊
