Our Royal Clipper Cruise - An Introduction

In June 2023 we enjoyed a two week cruise from Rome to Venice on board The Royal Clipper, a five masted "Tall Ship". This video is my introduction to the ship and a tour of just some of what it has to offer. This will be followed by at least one additional video which will cover the places we visited and some of the on-board entertainment.

I am going on this ship in June this year (2024) doing the same itinerary as you with Riviera Travel which I believe you were travelling with. I missed that year as I was on another cruise but finally managed it now. I’m travelling solo but am sure I’ll be ok. Will watch your other videos as well. Thanks for the insight 😊

@@SwanSycorax Thanks I’m sure I will. Can you remember how long you had in Taormina? I have been before so might skip the walking tour if free time isn’t too long.

@@elainecox7058 As far as i can recall it was a few hours in the afternoon. We dropped anchor in the late morning, had lunch on board and were then taken ashore via tenders. Here we met with our guides who took us on a walking tour of the town and then we had free time to explore before we needed to bet the tenders back to the ship for an early evening departure.

Boring! Good for a one time experience with the sails but this was so underwhelming
