I think I could listen to Scott explain things all day long! He has a voice that's easy to listen to. I am getting excited to go with you! ... Our truck is down and we won't be able to go RVing until he rebuilds the engine... Probably another couple weeks. I sure am glad that you guys got those tires replaced!

One thing to watch out for is if the aluminum rim and the steel spare want different lug nuts. They are not always the same some aluminum rims use a different lug nut. Glad you are getting things set up to go and not just letting it go until you have an issue. Getting a picture and printing it of what the suspension of the trailer looks like is good if you hear something or wonder if something went wrong. Many people in the Montana groups swear by the sailuns seems to be one of the most wanted tires. The fig pie/cake looked awesome. Reminds me how much I miss getting pecan pie when I worked in Door County sometimes. Hope you guys stay safe and healthy. Gracie is adorable.

We just replaced all 5 of our tires with Goodyear Endurance tires. We just have a pull behind, so they were all we needed. Our camper came with the China bombs! 😮 and they were 5 years old, so they definitely needed to be changed! We also just ordered tire covers to keep them safe from the sun! We still have a few more things to do before we go camping. Still disinfecting from the mouse! 🤬🤬 Hope y’all get to head out soon!! ❤️❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻🐶🐶

Ours had Westlakes on them from new and they were good tires. No problems and we used them over 4 years until we replaced with Sailun. We are very happy with the Sailun tires! Never have issue with PSI. They maintain the fill and don't get too hot. We drive between Texas and Arizona at least once a year (round trip). GY Endurance are really not any better than Sailun - just more expensive - but you won't be able to convince those who fall for the expensive price tag. They have to justify their decision! Happy Travels!! I know the feeling of being stuck too long at home. We had so many plans but weather and work has changed it - can't even camp close to home due to flooding and tree damage. Extra money went to clearing the broken tree branches around our house. Fun times. We are so ready to hit the road!

I’m sure Firestone does good work but are they expensive. I stopped at my local store they wanted 300$ to swap out a car headlight bulb. I went somewhere else. That guy worked outside in that hot weather what a trooper!

When the RV is just setting for an extended period of time I would highly recommend wheel covers. They do a gr3at job of protecting the tires from UV damage.

I don't know how long you've had that RV but most of us Vanleigh owners who got on the Vanleigh Owners Group on FB learn from others get rid of those Westlakes and we did in Sept. 2016. They were nothing but China Bombs.

Hello! I use it sometimes because it’s one of the few alternative sweeteners that don’t mess with my stomach. But I also use maple syrup or just apples to sweeten baked goods too. 😉
