Not that I ever disliked the Cheese but I was like 'meh' when I found out Jimmy would be doing a podcast with him, always keen for Jimmy interviewing someone but regular chat with the Cheese was low on my must listen to podcasts. Gotta say how wrong I was, wouldn't say I listen every week but I'm getting close. The fact they both have spoken honestly about controversies not dissimalar to the ones they were in the midst of when playing themselves has impressed me greatly, didn't do a cop out 'what about the guy that filmed it?' rant like Pearce and Carney just spoke through the issues honestly with believable empathy to the current players involved.

Draws were fine for nearly a century, I like them. Adding extra time after 80 minutes in a comp game is asking a bit much from the players. We could have golden try in the finals or origin?

The constant reports of him going out, the underperforming when he was playing (granted the last 3-4 games he played were good), now this..... Reflects poorly on the club, and he's let his team mates down again, club is bigger than one player.

golden point is fine, but should only be in finals. otherwise it should be a draw. golden try is a ridiculous idea and will only lead to excessive injuries when players do dumb shit to get it done.

Very American where there has to be a winner because there's no jeopardy of promotion/ relegation I guess. Some of the most entertaining matches across numerous sporting codes I have been to have ended in draws. We can watch cricket for 5 days and come away happy with spoils shared, surely we can live with a game of rugby league ending in a draw. Also, the point achieved in a draw will make for interesting reading come the end of the season where a point could determine finals or not. Adds more intrigue. Just my opinion.

Flanno incident happens at just about every ruck. Cheese sticking up for everything wrong and hence, another reason current players shouldn't be on a platform discussing current players. At some point, he'll forget what he said prior and will say the contrary. Flanno, no matter what, will always have the option to bite or not. He, as silly as his action was, decided to bite, I'm afraid. Same thing wiĺl happen 10 times next round if there are no repercussions. Flanno then went on to BS his old man and said he didnt bite.
