😂😂😂I've had the Scarecrow for few years...used him as is Yr 1 and kids loved it..added skeleton hands and darkened features 2nd yr..You've given me some great ideas for another update ..I'm going to try a couple of remote control tea lights for the eyes and update the clothes and hat.I finally built the spider web tunnel I've always wanted and I plan to put him there to hide one of my digital projections. watching these all in one go you realise just how many times jamie doubts herself when trying new things (like the other mother's face sculpt) which is insane to me, because she just seems to make everything work and look so perfect in the end even if there are hiccups along the way - she's so skilled, i hope she realises that!

Your work is amazing! It’s so hard to pick just one. I really really love the scarecrow (and I really think that Spirit copied you) and boy do I wish I had that witch. How you made the other mother is incredible. She is so much creepier than that animatronic is I. It’s original form. Can’t wait to see what you do next. Would love to see some of universals monsters as animatronics like Frankenstein, Dracula and Mummy!

I'm sure someone has to you before but make sure you wear a mask when using mineral spirits as it's highly toxic. Love your videos!! Hope I can try to redo an animatronic myself one day.

I'm a big chicken when it comes to Hallowe'en. I've never been able to walk through any type of scare zone or haunted house (okay well there was one hay ride). But for the last two or three years that I have been watching you guys, you really amp up the scariness of all these props. I can definitely appreciate your work through the screen in the comfort of my own home so I don't completely miss out on this spooky season. Keep it up!

They ALL LOOK FANTASTIC but I think one of the biggest cost outlays to this is actually buying the animatronic figures - I know (because I've been eyeing them up) that they can easily run $100-$300 each ... and then there is storage for the rest of the year.

I totally agree. That's partially why we've started building our own in addition to doing makeovers. A lot of people will comment about how they can't afford the $20 heat gun but will be working on a $300 prop they just bought. 😅

I've got three projects partially bought ... what has killed me is how quickly all the Hlloween stuff is already out of the stores. I need to start in early September next year.

It might be boring to other haunters but I’d love to see a remake of one of these spirit animatronics that are scary to something more friendly for young trick or treaters. More “baby’s first jump scare” with a Halloween character that is more cute than scary (like Haunted Mansion ghosts, NBC characters, or a friendly bat/jack o lantern/sheet ghost.)

Christmas animatronics are becoming a thing with the Lowes and Home Depot Santas and Reindeer. I know we're all about Halloween content, I kind of wonder if you can turn the Lowes Santa into an evil abomination too. :) We're doing a yard display with an old sleigh we acquired and animatronic reindeer. Next year we want to have it out at Halloween with Jack Skellington, but I'm really struggling to figure out how to make skeleton reindeer.

I honestly love the Jokerized animatronic, Krampus, Haunted House, and Springtrap animatronic you made the most. But there are also the floating wine bottle, Pennywise the clown with spider legs, and perhaps the drunken pirate?

Apparently re-watching these was something I didn’t realize I wanted to do 😂 that’s the idea, right? I got stuck on a project that has stumped me at every turn, and I love watching your vids to get ideas for solutions. As a fine artist, I really appreciate your paint work Jamie, I was surprised you weren’t comfortable with an airbrush, I assumed you knew lots of paint related stuff… no shade, I remember my learning curve painfully. I made all those same mistakes and KZbin wasn’t a resource when I was learning 😵‍💫 I can sympathize with “it’s clogging for no reason whatsoever!” I also love your teamwork for each project, and it’s awesome how you each have skills that complement one another. My husband and I are similar but I’m the only one who want to build props, he just jumps in as needed.

Great job! I love the scarecrow glow-up! I have a 1996 Crypt Keeper that no longer works. I bought the 2023 Crypt Keeper hoping to find a way to swap parts to make the old one work again, but I'm not mechanically inclined and I'm afraid I'll end up breaking the new one and further breaking the old one. =\
