As a health care provider its heartbreaking seeing a home in that state, and knowing there was abuse and neglect there, I hope they are all at peace and not reliving their experiences there in the afterlife. You were both respectful of the history
@samanthawalker41717 ай бұрын
I grew up in an old people's home, warden controlled. My step dad was the care taker of the building and we had an adjoining house at the far end. I loved as I would earn pocket monies by doing housework and errands for most of them, but loved to just sit and chat with them and hear their stories. It's soul destroying to know that anybody could abuse any vulnerable elderly person and that staff would allow this to happen. Edit:- As always a fantastic true and honest investigation. You guy's NEVER disapoint. Definitely worth re-visiting this location for sure, but as always, please 🙏🏻 be safe.

I watched an episode of Amy’s crypt with Exploring the Entity. They had an interesting perspective on care homes. The suggestion was that they were more active during the day due to the fact that most people (now spirits) were seniors. They suggested that older people in the homes were active during the day asleep by 7-9pm! Interesting thought!

Hi ste and griff fab video as always boys . Just makes me so sad to think that care workers can treat people so bad. I am 65 and worked in care for 43 years dont work anymore due to health issues . I dont understand why people do the job if they dont care.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐♥️
@singingsam407 ай бұрын
I worked in a care home in the 1990s and saw some things that still make me cry. The majority of carers did their best with very limited resources, but there were some who shouldn't have been anywhere near vulnerable people. These people are our parents, grandparents and other family members, so why do we not treat them as such?
@NatGeoKilledTheGlobe7 ай бұрын
Many people are forced into doing low paid jobs that they are not mentally or physically suitable for. The benefits system is a shambles to be honest and will only get worse in my opinion.
@kristinadjurfors82807 ай бұрын
And it has gotten so much worse, sadly. Not everywhere but some places are awful. I also agree with you. Why do work there if you don’t like it. You got all my respect for working so long, and if you loved your work. I promise you the people you were helping loved you too ❤❤

Exactly, Lorraine. I have worked within the care sector, mainly palative care. People need to be treated with the upmost respect and dignity at ALL times. If you can't do that, then you are in the wrong job. I treat my service users as if they were my mum or dad.

So horrific some of the things that take place in nursing homes. A woman i knew was going to visit her husband unannounced and caught the carer slapping him around the face and he couldn't fight back as he had a stroke and was paralyzed. She was sacked. Nursing homes give me the heebie geebies especially at night.Cool explore boy's xx 💙💙 I worked in a care home as a domestic and some of the things i seen were barbaric. I did report it to the matron. So cruel and no need for it.

Well fellas, might be time to think about adding a 3rd just to be on lookout.... maybe patrol the outside and let you know if security and/or other living people are coming. Also, if you hear voices or noises that sound like it's coming from outside, you could have them check specific locations in real time. This would also lend more credibility to potential paranormal activity if they can quickly rule out human contamination... just a thought!
