Wow! My whole Christian life I've been taught to FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT and I believed that this ment effort on my part. I've never heard before that your journey with the Lord should be easy. So if it is hard, I'm on the wrong path. Just wait for everything to seem easy, and that's how I know I'm still "in the airplane " as you say. This certainly takes a lot of responsibility off of me. From now on, if I feel any effort or resistance in my life, I'll know I'm out of faith.

How can you tell if you're doing something in your own strength or in the spirit of the Lord? Every day I struggle with hopelessness and addiction to sweets. I keep trying and praying and praying and praying but nothing is changing. This has been a 9 year battle. What am I doing wrong?
