This is beyond amazing. How would one go about obtaining the correct electric motor for one of these? What if I wanted a stronger electric motor, something that could go 40-45 without overly stressing?

Get the xr50 pro taper bars it’ll raise the bars up above your knees so you can actually turn.

Just picked up an older 1986 Suzuki 125 alt and it came with a whole other frame minus the motor basically been thinking of doing something like this now I’m here lol I love what you’ve done!

Go with a 72v Kelly controller and 72v brushless dc motor 3000watt or higher!

I have a safety rule for myself when testing motorized vehicles. Select an area devoid of stationary objects fastened to the surface you using. At the speed you were traveling if you hit one of those steel tables which are everywhere in the machine shop, they could take your head off, no emergency room needed. You mentioned the Honda three wheeler. I have a friend who rode one through some barbed wire, the scars on his chest and arms looked his skin had been fed through a paper shredder.
