Our Simple Wedding in North Carolina | Snow in March!

On March 12th 2022, I married my best friend. 💕 Austin and I got married at our friends home in Brasstown North Carolina and we were surprised to have snow in March! The ceremony was beautiful and so many people made our day truly special. Thank you to everyone who has followed our journey along the way. God bless you all and I hope you enjoy this video!

Why am I watching this? I'm a crusty 'ol retired military veteran. I stumbled across the Pressley girls on youtube, found myself subscribing, and now...I'm binge watching. What has happened to me?!? Well, I suppose, being from western NC, and now, eastern Tennessee, I just connect with their Appalachian charm. These girls are adorable. I was so proud of their mom, winning that Appy!...and seeing how proud Cori was of her new house, really special. I have other things to do, but I'll be back for more.

Right when Corey got to the bottom of the stairs before the preacher started I was surprised that I got overwhelmed with emotions and tears and me typing this is me pausing the video and getting myself together because you can't watch a video with your eyes full of tears! Geez, Patrick, get ahold of yourself! It's just good folk swearing undying love after all! I think it was when she hit the bottom of the stairs and turned to Katie and gave her a look _so full of feeling,_ that it hit me.

Our wedding was frugal, we married in the church of which my husband was pastor, a friend made the cake as a present, another friend iced it.
