Working for yourself is the best! No one can fire you, yes, more self- descipline and more effort go into that, but it is definately worth it, you work for your heritage to pass to your own kids and it's worthless. I was expected to give my baby girl away. Thanks to God for blessing me with an aunt that took care of me, and then my daughter while i went to school. Mother came around, eventually. I married 2 years later to a great guy who raised our daughter as his own. 🙏🩷

When I look at my children and pray for their future, I SINCERELY pray my children are as kind and loving, explore, strive for their dreams, that they aren't afraid of hard work but never lose sight of their dreams and they are as closely bonded and most of all love their family and JESUS like you two girls. If my kiddos grow up to be half the young people (I have 2 boys and a girl) as you ladies are, I will have been a success as a Mommy. I think your past jobs are really diverse. You did physical labor, office work and Katie was even an archivist. Can't wait for Little Bit to make his debut! When is your baby due Katie? Oct 18 2023 Katie, As a follower of your mom’s channel and Yours & Corie’s, I feel I know you well enough to share a story with you. When I was pregnant with my daughter, way back in 1972, there was a very popular song on the radio called “Brandy” by Looking Glass. I really enjoyed the song, and would sing it a lot. Flash forward to 1988. My 16 yr. old daughter came running from her bedroom with big eyes. She had been listening to the radio and slid into the room saying “MOM! The weirdest thing just happened! I heard a song on the radio that I’d never heard before, AND I ALREADY KNEW ALL THE WORDS!!” She asked me if I knew it and sure ‘nuff, it was “Brandy”. I explained to her that it was a favorite of mine before she was born. I didn’t have it on record or tape, and I only recall it being on the main radio play list when I was carrying her. So, the moral of this story, in my opinion, is (has since been scientifically proven) that the preborn can hear and recognize voices. If I’d known this at the time, I’d have started talking directly to my little one from conception! LOL!! I think that she learned anyway though, but I would have been more dedicated to what she experienced probably. Hey corey i need to learn to make soap and candles from suit /tallow. I’m container gardening. I’m a scrapbooker and used to teach card making and scrapbooking. Babysitter was my first job love other people’s kids but married someone who didn’t want any. 30 years later this month no regrets. Traveled and no debt. I’m a big with big brother big sister. My first real job after that was a restaurant kitchen making salads, dressing, slicing meat etc i love to cook but restaurant kitchen is hot hard thankless job. I have been a travel agent and a licensed massage therapist. I’ve developed many chemical sensitivities I’m especially allergic to Dawn and other detergents. Makes everything difficult. Everyone uses it. I’m 56 and it took until last year to realize it. Every single time i get exposed i have physical issues ive had my whole life. Please be careful working on jewelry it can be harmful. But I love your work. If I could work i would love to have something you designed. God is good prayers for you and the baby. God needs more young people like you. Our traditions have been broken. Love from northern Arizona

I am the one who told you I got pregnant outside of wedlock, and today have a wonderful son and two teenage grandsons. I know that your parents will enjoy that baby and help raise him. We are like minded in loving Jesus and as believers. Just make sure you start talking to little one and praying for him. Read Bible stories for your baby now. Invest time teaching him about Jesus. Yes! I am proud to say that I have some of Katie's jewelry...a couple of pairs of earrings and a gorgeous necklace that I wear most every Sunday. I get tons of compliments on them. Corie makes the best soap, too! I have bought it for us and Christmas gifts for family members and friends. These are some of the hardest working ladies I know. Between playing, teaching/performing at the Folkart School and accompanying their mom on her book tours. Love this family so much!!!! Love and prayers for y'all continuing every day! Jane in SC ❤🙏

ROCK TALK!! I'm here for it!! I've been a Rock lover since I was a child. I always have rocks in the car, in my bathroom, rocks in my pockets. Everywhere I go, I'm looking at the ground. I have a lot of rock specimens, especially fluorite. The rock club I'm in is awesome. There is lap shop but I've never been. there's a jewelry class taught by a member. And I've only cabbed once. We just had our rock auction and next month is our "famous" rock sale and swap and there will be everything imaginable and jewelry too. I can't wait! It always on or near birthday so that gives me permission to buy fluorite! I would have loved to have seen that estate collection!! The history of the pieces is what I try to hold on to. Knowing whose collection something came out of. I've given away some slabs but I'll keep my eye out for interesting slabs. Have you ever worked dinosaur bone. Very cool stuff. Thanks for the video...interesting! Come up to Richmond for the rock swap! 😀
