Now I want Rachel to rate and judge my Hinge profile; is she taking requests? 😂 And this is probably weird, but I personally prefer being with people who have faced hardship in their life. I find it’s especially important for those interested in working in medicine, since it’ll help them become more mature, appreciative, independent, and overall train them to think outside the box to overcome all odds, but not to the point where it becomes toxic. It’s quite scary to see how competitive and toxic medical school admission has become. @Jesse, how did you escape the toxicity of the premed culture at JHU? And what specialties are you interested in? :o Also, this is related to your guys’ last podcast, but out of curiosity, say you guys are dating your dream person and you’re considering marriage. They’re everything you could want in a partner, they make you extremely happy, and all your siblings love them. But your parents don’t approve or are hesitant because they are not Christian. Would you guys go against your parents and still consider marriage or would their disapproval be an automatic dealbreaker?
